Great manager who was most helpful and accommodating. A hotel with a welcoming atmosphere in an excellent location close to the harbour, making it easy to walk to most things in town. Rooms were more that reasonable and well appointed too, making the is hotel great value for money. You will need to find street parking if you have a car.

"Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable trip. The location was perfect, just a short walk from all the main attractions and great restaurants. The breakfast spread was delicious and had so many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and can't wait to come back!"

great place, clean, best place for it's value. Breakfast was above average, much better than other hotels in its class. The gentleman at the reception desk, Serkan, was friendly and accommodating.

The Upper House was a great place to stay for service, location and cost, there is no elevator in the Upper House but the staff will go over and above to make you welcome and comfortable.

This place was honestly such a great find! Super chill vibes and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The service was amazing. everyone was so friendly and helpful the whole time. It just felt really easy and comfortable being there. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, so fresh, tasty, and heaps of options to choose from. We looked forward to it every morning! The whole experience was just really lovely, from the cozy atmosphere to the great food and awesome staff. I’d 100% recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing spot with good vibes and great service. Would definitely come back!

Be careful - bedbugs!!
The hotel is old and quite worn-out. I booked a deluxe room to have more comfort, but the first room they gave me on the upper floor definitely needs repairment: dirty spots and splashes in the walls, paint/plaster that fell down from the wall, holes in the walls instead of electric plugs, curtains with stains, etc.
I asked if they have another room, they wondered why, but showed me 1102. It looked a bit better, even though it needed repairment, too and there was a noise from bars in the night. But that wouldn't be that bad if there wasn't bedbugs!.. I saw them in the bedhead in the middle of the night when I noticed one of them on me! There was plenty of them... Unfortunately I had nowhere to go at 3 am anyway, so I had to stay till the morning... The result - now I'm having the bedbugs bites all over my body 😕 I've never ever had such experience even at the simple hostels...
If you decide to stay in this hotel - better check the beds. My room was 1102.
If anyone from the Upper House hotel wants to contact me regarding this problem and apologize - I'd gladly show them the bites on me and the bugs in the bed.

Worst experience ever. Room wasn't ready in time the stuff said it will be ready, balcony door cannot be locked, fridge is not working, refunds not possible, booked 26 sq. m room, but received 8 sq. m. or so. No sound insulation at all, all street sounds from the city life will not let you sleep all night. Stay away from this "Hotel"... 4 stars? LoL 😂😂😂

Great stay for 9 nights with a toddler. Staff are so helpful and friendly (and work non stop!). I’d definitely recommend booking a bigger (attic or executive) room if you are a couple or family. Will be back!

Great place to stay. There was music from from the street but it ends at the midnight. There was no traffic noise like other places which adds more comfort. Breakfast was great, they also have complimentary Turkish coffee. Staff was very helpful.

From the moment we arrived we knew we picked the best hotel. Denis on reception was so kind and informative and we even got an instant upgard. The room was perfect for our stay, shower fabulous, location you couldn't get better its right in the heart of the harbour and the atmosphere had a great friendly, relaxing, chill vibes. We have travelled alot of Turkey and this is up there as one of our best stays. Thank you Denis and staff from the two Irish on the bicycles😊. Ps best breakfast also 😉
