the service is very good and very helpful.
they have restaurant too and its not that expensive, also the food is delicious.
we stayed 2 nights and they offered a cleaning service at the second day.
the location is near by the road so its a little bit noisy, but it was near by the hypermarket too.
overall, it was a very recommended hotel.

The service was quite subpar. The front desk always made excuses, using the same tactics to shirk responsibility on both my stays, until I had to present evidence to shut them up.

Citymax Sharjah is in a very local part of the UAE, and getting around was more friction than it was worth. It’s a decent hotel if you have business in the area but that’s about it. Coffee is ridiculously priced at 12 dirhams and there is plenty of food diversity in the hotel if you like getting bent over. In terms of transport, the No. 8 bus stops right outside the hotel (not on Google Maps), then you transfer to the 307 toward Dubai; on the way back, the 307 drops you off far enough away that you’re stuck with about a 20-minute walk back to the hotel through a dense poverty-stricken neighborhood. There is no Bolt in this area so you’re going to have to be fine with overpriced Uber or Careem rides. Food nearby is mostly Indian trash and local fast food, nothing memorable, no nightlife, or shopping and there’s little to do beyond basic errands. One practical note: there are plenty of laundry shops around, and Ashraf Laundry / Dry Cleaning was the least sketchy option I found, professional and reasonably priced at about 1–2 dirhams per item.
