Inn on Zhytomyrska in Kiev

I don't understand where the high ratings here and on Booking come from. The place is frankly terrible. The mini-hotel itself is located not far from the metro station "Zhytomyrska", surrounded by panel high-rise buildings. There is a shelter and security on the territory. Of the relative positives, probably all. The hall is ala "Soviet", there is almost never anyone at the reception - neither day nor night. Regarding the room: we lived in room 26, spacious, the furniture is cheap and old, the beds are simply in such a condition that they are already 50 years old - bent, with holes. The room is VERY DIRTY! The walls are dirty in some streams, the furniture and handles are dirty, even sticky, the linen - with holes (thank you that at least it was washed), the tulle is not white, but black. Separately, the bathroom, where the shower, washbasin and toilet are. Everything is so dirty that it is scary to touch. We could barely get into the shower, just on tiptoe, the toilet was dirty (urine flowed both inside and outside), the tiles were probably washed when they were installed. The fact that the toilet was not properly cleaned caused a very unpleasant smell in the room. The presence of disposable slippers and packages with shower gel and shampoo (ridiculous!) did not save the situation. Let it be modest, but at least it was clean. You could at least wash everything with bleach so that people would not fear for their health. Hotel administration, have a conscience, hire cleaners! Simply terrible service, I do not recommend it to anyone. And the double room cost 800 UAH. We were forced to stay overnight, because it was already late. However, we never stayed longer. The next day, for the same price, we found a simply gorgeous hostel with a double room. Once again, I do not recommend it!!!

Guys a very racist hotel with no English speaking reception and I called with a friend because I couldn't understand the language for the first call the receptionist said there was a single room but when we wanted to reserved the room and he started asking for my information when I head my name he immediately said sorry the room was taken already and blacklist my number when I insist calling back he said bye bye and hung up
