The people at the front desk at the Premier Hotel Rus are on top of their game. The concierge, Serhii, has been very helpful to me. He is intelligent, alert, and knowledgeable and speaks English fluently. He will answer all questions and make necessary arrangements which would otherwise be very difficult for a traveler that does not speak Ukrainian and does not know the city. Overall the hotel is great and we were happy with our stay. Our only issue was the bed wasn’t a King bed as advertised in our Suite. Nothing changed even after informing the reception. That was the disappointment as we have our 1.5 year daughter with us and was smaller bed compared to what a King bed would have been.

The hotel looks beautiful from the outside, as does the ground floor and reception area - but everything changes once you reach the corridor and your room. I think 1990 is the date these rooms were created and they have not been changed since. It is clean, but nothing interesting. Lobby area is very nice. I was on the 12th floor with a great view. In America this would have been a 3-star and everything was clean and adequate. Maybe here it's more of a 4-star. Price was very reasonable about $48 and that was without any discounts.

Brilliant hotel visited a few years ago on my 2nd visit to kyiv. And I can't wait to visit again in the future. Staff were brilliant, and my room was amazing and spotlessly clean. I had a room with a balcony onto the river, which was beautiful and peaceful sitting on my balcony watching the world go by. Nice and easy to get a taxi into the town centre, highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful hotel. If you like boats and being comfortable this is definitely for you. The staff are wonderful, the beds are so comfortable and the rooms simply and smartly decorated. The only hotel I've ever stayed that I don't have a thing to complain about. Would love to stay there again.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms are clean and it's quite at night. Very good design everywhere, it's visible that place is new. The location is ok, it's far from city centre but if you are interested to stay closer to university district it's a good place. The hotel is dog friendly! The hotel is located in an excellent location, close to the train station and all public transport. The staff is friendly and the service is very high quality. But old furniture, very bad Internet, lack of broadcasting of a sufficient number of channels with an old TV spoil all positive emotions.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Kyiv. Professional staff is doing their best to make staying in the hotel comfortable. Hearty breakfast is included in the room rate. The only downside is that the interior requires complete renovation.

The hotel is located in a large 1980s/1990s (opened 1987 back then being the Kyiv's first sky scraper hotel) building on the eastern shore of the Dnipro (called "left shore" as it is when looking along the river's flow direction). Old-fashioned rooms with the creaky wooden floor and outdated furniture. The hotel provides a parking place in the yard. Our stays were generally comfortable, but I wish the carpet and the sofa in our room were cleaner, and the walls were thicker for better noise insulation.
