reception without a smile, rude and unwelcoming, cleaning is not done every day or only takes away trash from the basket, without wiping dust and floors. zero soundproofing, lots of loud children, washing machine does not work ((( expectations 10 - reality 1

Wonderful place- great location. I was in a 4 women room. Perfect. Cosy and quiet. Everything is clean. Welcoming and helpful staff(24/7). There is a dining - living room and a big kitchen with a residents refrigerator. I would definitely come back there when I return to the beautiful city of Lviv. From France

Had an excellent stay here in a 4 bed mixed dorm. The hostel is in a very convenient location, almost right on Rynok Square. There is a cafe next door (sort of attached) which you can get a 20% discount at for staying at Dream.
The beds are good, featuring curtains, a light, outlets, plenty of storage, and large lockers. My only complaint about the bed is that on the bottom bunk, the curtain doesn't extend into the ladder, so everyone walking into the room could still see straight into my area. The bathrooms were solid as well, with the shower being nice and having shelving, and the bathroom as a whole had lots of hooks and bars to hang stuff, which was much appreciated.
The lounge/kitchen area was nice. Lots of comfy seating and a couple of desk seats with lamps and outlets which was very convenient for my remote work. Most of the staff at the front desk spoke English and were happy to help with any questions I had.

We stayed two nights at Dream Hostel for a very reasonable price. The hostel staff speak very good English and were very helpful. We booked a private double room, but were given a 6 bed dorm ourselves. Nonetheless, the room was spacious and very clean, as were the bathrooms. The hostel also had a bar/restaurant attached but we didn’t use it. Dream hostel is located in the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from the Rynok Square. It is ideally located for anyone looking to explore Lviv. I would stay here again if I am ever in Lviv.

A warning to families with children, in room 305 on the third floor, there is a Ukrainian man who walks at night with a flashlight and a headlamp. He walks in and out of his room, bathrooms and hallways talking to himself, talking on the phone, loudly packing and unpacking parcels and sealing these with tape. He told my son who is a child that he does this at night since he sells Kratom from Dream Hostel for a good price and the office of his business is located here on the third floor. He explained that he takes Kratom all night and all day, it keeps him stimulated and awake at night, but because of this he gets easily irritated and it sometimes makes him very aggressive and angry. My son found a big package of this substance in the third floor bathroom and explained where he found this. I have included a photograph of the contents of the large package. If I hadn't discovered it, it could have killed him. My son is a small boy. Do the staff know this is very dangerous and can be fatal to children?! Thankfully he had the sense to share this information with us but he was threatened by this man that he would be in trouble if he told anybody. Who is this man? Why does he have the right to make a child feel afraid? My family are Ukrainian and were here to stay to celebrate Easter in Lviv, but this man said staff at DreamHostel keep a bed in room 305 reserved for him most days specifically for his business (selling Kratom) since it is so profitable. He said the only other woman in the room is there to accept cash if he is not available and that she knows where the Kratom is in the room and helps run the business if my son knew anybody interested in purchasing Kratom but he wasn’t available. Is this man’s business selling a stimulant more important than the safety of guests? Is this woman running the business a guest also? How many people profit from this? He should not be telling the children about his business at the hostel. He should also not be in a hostel that is shared with families if the substance makes him aggressive and irritable and he has an addiction to it that makes him threaten a child. Does Dream Hostel make money from this illicit business based on the third floor?
