Mama Lyuba Resort in Zatoka

Disappointment from the very first minute. We do not recommend it.

We chose the place based on the owner's description, who assured us of excellent conditions. The reality turned out to be completely different.

First, the location. You can only get there with a GPS—the road leads through narrow streets, like those in a summer cottage community, or even worse. A large house with a tiny yard has been built on the site of a typical summer cottage plot. Cars are parked tightly, and exiting is only possible if someone removes theirs. The space is small, cramped, and uncomfortable.

Second, the promised "balcony" is a single, shared passageway lined with small tables and two chairs opposite each room. This means no privacy—you're always sitting in plain sight, and someone is sure to be nearby. It's like a bar, not a vacation.

The rooms are small, and the photos don't reflect the actual condition and scale. When fully occupied, the place feels cramped, and there's no sense of a "resort"—it's a regular private house with shared walls and a shared yard.

The landlady's behavior was particularly unpleasant. While everything was going according to plan, she was polite and friendly—she made a good impression over the phone. But as soon as it became clear we weren't happy, she instantly changed. Without any attempt to find out why, she said, "No one's holding you back, I won't return your deposit." We politely asked for an hour to think it over, but received an ultimatum: "Either you move in right now and pay the full amount, or you leave." We chose the latter option—we left.

Luckily, we quickly found accommodation in the center, closer to the sea, with better conditions, and even at a lower price.

The question arises: where are all these rave reviews coming from? Either the bar is too high, or these are reviews from the owners themselves and their friends. Real guests clearly don't leave their opinions.
