Uncomfortable bed couldn't sleep, pillows like hard bricks didn't realise there was softer pillows instead available. Poor breakfast cold and lack of attentiveness Wouldn't lend me a phone charger
Modern and well-located hotel. The bed and mattress were very comfortable, and we slept perfectly. Everything looks new, modern, and clean. The bathroom is a built-in plastic unit with plenty of space, which I think is a very practical solution. The WiFi was excellent with good speed. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Umbrellas are available for rent at the hotel. We were given...

Good. It has a large parking lot. But it will charge 5 pound per day. Offers good breakfast
The service was superb as well as the staff. The food was really great and I enjoyed my stay.
The rooms are modern and very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The parking is also available for £5 per night, where you need to register your plate number in the kiosk after check-in process.
Overall it's good, but the sofa bed is a bit too soft and not very comfortable; that could be improved.
entered a clean and orderly premises, well received, informative staff, satisfactory rooms, good breakfast and helpful 4 hour free parking.
Great staff, good location, good value for money for the area. Make sure you book car in the car park to avoid being fined

really nice environment, staffs are friendly and helpful , room with bath tube
A very pleasant stay with Marriott, as always. Sizable room for a group of 4. The breakfast is exceptionally good. Central location allows us to travel between U of Bristol and Watershed easily.
Front Desk Staff was Excellent - I raised a concern when a member of Miller & Carter Restaurant said the main restaurant was closing this was at 2045 and she tried and confined us to a table not of our choice we advised if that was the only table she could offer then we would not dine there - there was 3 of us. I informed the young lady at the front desk and she was understood and said she will speak...
Overnight stay at the hotel. Perfect location, very reasonable price for parking and very convenient. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again!
Gorgeous hotel in a central location .Offers comfortable rooms and all the amenities. An excellent restaurant is the main attraction.
The good things about the hotel were its location. Close to restaurants, a famous Banksy or two, lots of shops and theatres. Is a beautiful hotel with nice places to sit and meet if you are in a group. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The car park, despite being £17 per night, was actually better value than other options nearby and we were able to leave the car there until midnight on the...

Everything we wanted at such a good price! Lovely service as well
The room was absolutely beautiful, clean. Recommended
Easy walk from the station with suitcase. Room was clean and large. The bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely.
Clean room, has everything we needed (tea station, hair dryer, toiletries). Bed was comfortable and the stay was a great price. 15/20 min walk to Cabot Circus area.
Excellent stay, clean and service was nice and polite, good price too for the location.
Good price for the location, bedroom was clean. Bathroom was like some sort of pod, similar to a train bathroom but it was still functional, not necessarily disabled friendly but that didn’t affect us. Would stay again.

Stayed here as was working a few minutes walk away. Basic but was great for what was needed (A bed and close proximity to work).
The first time we stayed it was lovely . The second time was not pleasant sadly .

This hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop from which the University of Bristol, the Bristol Bus and Coach Station, and Temple Meads station are easily accessible. I appreciated the detox water with lemon slices that they offer in the lobby. The room is quite small, and the lights are dim. However, it is comfy enough for a few days in the city.
It was noisy and we could hear even someone walked
Lovely place to stay. Spacious room.

Staffs were kinds and my room was clean. I would like to recommend for travellers. Thank you
Great services, welcoming fruits and nice breakfast provided. Staffs are welcoming and approachable.
We had an excellent stay at the Washington. The staff we met were all friendly and attentive. The room was perfect for our short stay with all expectations met and a very comfortable bed. The location is great with plenty of eating and drinking establishments within an easy walk. We used the parking without issue which was a bonus. Overall I would recommend the Washington to anyone planning a short...
The staff was really helpful and it was a really nice place to stay for some days.
Rooms are comfortable and staff very friendly! Very good breakfast, they have english breakfast available plus regular choices.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and tidy. However we arrived for breakfast which was included and why we booked this hotel to find that the chef had called in sick so there was only a basic continental breakfast . The staff were unhelpful and slow at breakfast . My husband had an orange for breakfast and I had a piece of toast !! Not what we paid for .

Lovely experience at the Channings. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially after catering for such a big group. Atmosphere was great. Phone calls before hand to make sure everything was correct and happy. Very reasonably priced and very helpful. Group of 20. Would recommend
Stayed here with friends after a night out in Bristol. Dan and the whole team were great. So accommodating to everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and room was spacious. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and breakfast in the morning was excellent. Really lovely staff. Perfect location.
Lovely staff at hotel and bar and restaurant . We loved the food and the stay. The staff could not do enough for you! So lovely and polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Not a hotel I would usually choose but it’s location suited. Very dated and could use a massive update
I was very disappointed Room was very standard for the price and no lifts - this place needs an update The bar was okay but thats it
Good property for one or two nights. Tv did not work in room although staff resolved this immediately.

The Staff are very polite and friendly. The first problem was the room which is only accessible by a mounting goat
Nice hotel, great location in clifton tidy rooms with comfy bed, decent prices
POSITIVES: Perfect location, friendly staff, rooms were clean and modern with biscuits, tea/coffee and mini bar. Very comfortable soft bed. NEGATIVES: Both the room and bed were quite small and cramped and fan in the bathroom wasn’t very powerful
Parking needs to advertised as limited and street parking. as we found priority was given to people visiting the hotel and not guests staying.
Clean room and very welcoming staff. Breakfast available at extra cost.
Perfectly acceptable well maintained property for a relatively inexpensive night in the Bristol area

nice and quiet location, the staff Komal and Alex manage efficiently with the given resources and respond patiently to all the guests irrespective of their queries...good eateries nearby...self check-in being a concern for many guests, the staff respond accordingly helping with creating room codes etc...
Well, this was an odd stay. Check in was confusing; apparently we should have received a text message and email with codes to access the hotel and room. The lady at the reception desk was able to provide us with the codes but this process was a bit of palaver and involved having my phone’s text message inbox scrutinised, which I have to admit made me feel a little uncomfortable. When we arrived in...
No lift. No food provided. The location is a bit far from temple mead station but close to the university. The room is small and quite old.
Staffs are friendly and the hotel provided free breakfast, but the hot water and milk would be not enough if the customers have breakfast late
The first thing I really appreciate is the friendliness of the staff. They offer help even though you have not ask! Very considerate. They offer grab and go breakfast which has many items: Yogurt, apple/banana, muffin, energy bar and drink! They also have a little drinking bar that you can serve yourself! So I add some marks on amenities part. Yet there are something you can take a reference if you...
I found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant I would be happy to stay their again

The Old Star, Bristol1 / 17Good price

Bristol, Pye Corner (9 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room had two single beds (old) and a WC/shower room (this unheated and remained wet during the 4-day stay. Continental breakfast which included a variety of items (sliced cheese packet mould green). Parking available and good WIFI reception. Road noise not an issue. Depending on weather, would be more appreciative if not a winter stay. Hosts very nice and welcoming.
Very friendly welcome. The Old Star was just what I needed.
Absolutely lovely building , cosy and fresh . The breakfast is continental but you can have a hot breakfast on request at an extra charge . The owners are very pleasant nothing is to much trouble for them and there is ample parking. The room that we stayed in was very comfortable clean and warm and the bed was to die for . Nice view of the countryside and would thoroughly recommend .
I felt at home in the b&b and liked that you could get your own breakfast and there were facilities such as a microwave should you need it. It was very convenient that it was so close to Glenside university as well. The host was very welcoming and helpful.
Wonderful location in a very beautiful surroundings. Good value for money and on site EV charger is a bonus.
I stayed here for 3 nights for a work trip to Bristol. It’s easy to get to and the room was very clean. Breakfast is basically help yourself from the fridge, toast, cereals and yoghurts, which was perfect for me. I stupidly left all my chargers plugged in and she very kindly sent them back to me. I left on a Friday and they were back by Monday, which was a very kind gesture.

We were welcomed by a very friendly, helpful and smiley Italian lady. Location is great, room nice and clean, but a bit small. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but we had a pleasant stay. In short a pleasant stay!
Staff was kind, location was great. I had a room in their smaller secondary building and I didn't know the hotel didn’t have a lift so carrying all my bags up flights of stairs wasn't much fun... but everything else was great!
Attention to detail excellent. Very clean and spacious for a small double. Staff friendly and helpful. Hairdryer needs updating!
Stayed at short notice after being left in the lurch. Clara on reception was excellent and went the extra mile to look after us.
Great location but a few issues with early check in and our room was unfortunately very noisy due to its location within the building. We will definitely return sometime but will request a quiet room.
The staff were friendly. The room was functional, quiet, light and airy and the bed was very large and comfortable. The on-site parking is very convenient.
