The room is spacious and clean. Location is convenient no matter from the railway station or to the city centre in about 15 mins walk. Overall it’s with good value and will choose to stay here again if coming to Bristol next time.

Overall a good sized room. Howerver the aircon was not adequate to cool the room and felt a little too warm for the hot summer's day. However the beds were comfy and the room overall well styled. Location is good. The place has lighting which makes it feel like it is an old run down hotel. Service was okay. I asked for ice and was told to go to ground floor. Don’t expect this from Radisson hotel chain. Carpets feel old. Lighting needs a bit of work to make it modern.

Lovely 1 night stay as son had football commitments in Bristol. Hotel has beautiful grounds, the walk around the lake was a bonus and saw lots of wildlife including a Jack Heron. An exceptionally clean room with a very comfortable bed. There was plenty of room and a courtyard view. It was a very short and pleasant walk to the train station. There’s a Starbucks nearby and nice walks in a modern section of the city. A very good stay and reasonably priced I would definitely book again.

Excellent location- near the waterfront and attractions (for me, the Arnolfini and Watershed, where the film festival was held), and restaurants, cafes, etc. I had a room on the 6th floor, away from the waterfront, and it was great- roomy and quiet. Will definitely book again!

Lovely hotel! The standard double bedroom is quite small but we knew that from other reviews. The bathroom was finished to a really high standard and in a great location.

We had our wedding registry in Bristol and it was the perfect place to get ready. The staff were amazing and so helpful to us! I got a great deal on this stay but it was marred by a long wait checking in with staff confused that I hadn't fully paid and wanting to charge me full price. They eventually let me in and said they thought it was an error between trip.com and hotel and would sort. I and my husband had a really awesome experience staying at Double Tree. Staff greeted us warmly at the reception check-in counter. After checking-in, we even each got a really tasty chocolate chip cookies. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The gym is well equipped. The parking needs to be paid for though, it's 8 pound which cover 24 hours of parking and they will ask you to pay at check in.

The front desk staff had a great attitude. They first gave me a room, but after checking in, I noticed that only the bed had been cleaned—the bathroom and toilet were still dirty (as shown in the picture). The front desk then helped me switch to another room, which was properly cleaned, but it didn’t have a hairdryer, which is quite unexpected for a four-star hotel.

Had lunch here at the White Lion. Ordered chili and pepperoni pizza. It came out very nicely and was enough to share with a side of chips. Great open space and views. And the staff was very nice, very welcoming.

Very friendly staff and nice hotel

The bed is collapsed and not supportive anymore due to long years usage. Finally I chose to sleep on floor rather than on the bed. It is the worse hotel experience I have ever lived in. Haven’t sleep for whole night. The breakfast is too salty, I have picked the sausage, bacon, stir fried egg, all are too salty. Really disappointing hotel.

No AC makes the room really hot during the summer, a fan was provided but made little difference and was really noisy. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything from the hallways. Bed rather uncomfortable and hard, not really hotel standards on pillows either. Shame because the location is good.

Wonderful stay my go to hotel when in Bristol wonderful location and fantastic rooms. I have stayed here many times over the last 5 years and staff have always been helpful and friendly.

The waiter was very nice, the room was small, the location was very good, very close to the University of Bristol, and the warm thing was that you could see fruits on the table as soon as you entered the room. Be sure to book in advance, the price is different every day, and the price fluctuates greatly when school starts in September.

Easy walking distance of Bristol city center and all main venues and attractions. 25% discount given by the hotel if you use the NCP carpark next door, so don't forget to ask!

I gave 5 stars for the staff, they were really helpful and friendly, the room was very clean but quite dated but it was just somewhere to put your head for a night.

The room was in the eaves so headroom awkward on one side of bed. Differing levels in bathroom too. Reception service was a bit haphazard - hadn't a clue when reception unattended if they knew you were there. Parking was also a bit hit & miss and unclear, but it is the same price as overnight parking on the street.

Lovely hotel housed in a beautiful old building with delightful city garden. Good proximity to motorway, and easy drive to city centre if needed. Continental breakfast was good value at 12 pounds. Really liked this hotel - it was much nicer than I had expected - it was really well appointed with friendly staff and felt like a boutique hotel rather than part of a chain.
