Great location - we walked everywhere. Comfortable beds - we slept peacefully. Fabulous breakfast - filled us up for the day. This is one of the best hotels in Bristol without a doubt.

Whilst this hotel is in a busy location, it has discounted NCP parking, excellent facilities and great rooms. Service was excellent and the Executive Lounge and breakfasts were excellent. Clean, modern and well maintained. Great price too.

Overall, it was a great experience. We were given a room on the 9th floor, offering a different perspective of Bristol. The stay was comfortable, the environment was nice, and the facilities were decent. Definitely better than the Holiday Inn in the city center.

The renovated room was of a good standard. Very comfortable bed. Bill offered on tv but not available. Need to ask for decaff tea bags in room. Very well welcome. The breakfast was very good. They offer huge variety of different food for breakfast. The rooms are very good but the bathroom was a little bit dirty.

Lovely stay. Room a good size, very clean and quiet even though at ground level next to the pavement. All staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast well worth the price paid. We shall definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed staying at the Marriott Royal hotel. Whilst the decor is a bit dated, the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff have perfected good customer service. The app is a great addition to the experience.

Very good hotel with very good conference space/facility. Very adequate for what we needed for our conference. Only down side is the parking is firstly not very noticeable as far as an entrance is concerned and secondly gives you the feel of being in a rabbits warren once you're in there. Very convenient location for not Bath and Bristol. We usually stay as a family and enjoy late breakfast and a swimming pool.

Fantastic hotel convenient for what I needed. What a treat to have a pool - well maintained and while it was popular it never felt crowded and always space in the sauna. Very friendly front of house staff and house keepers. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Kids meals are great too.

Brilliant customer service, clean room and convenient location

Excellent service at the front desk and a clean, comfortable room. The TV was struggling to find signal and maintenance wasn't available as it was late at night, but the staff worked hard to compensate for the inconvenience and ensure I had a great stay.

Lovely stay overall. However, the happy hour felt like a scam. They advertised any beer for £5 before 18:00, but I ordered one and a half beers and was charged the full price (order was made at17:40). I pointed out the mistake, but my concern was ignored.

All fine except for a few things: there was only one breakfast tea bag left each day so had to ask for more. The fridge didn’t work. When we went to the sauna at 5pm (the time they state it’s open from) and it had not been switched on so had to call reception and by the time the sauna was beginning to get warm we had to leave as we had a booking (about 45 minutes later). If you manage to get a good deal on this at around 110 lb per night then the hotel is not too bad at the full price in excess of $150 160 lb a night. This represents really bad value.
