Stayed here as was working a few minutes walk away. Basic but was great for what was needed (A bed and close proximity to work).

This hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop from which the University of Bristol, the Bristol Bus and Coach Station, and Temple Meads station are easily accessible. I appreciated the detox water with lemon slices that they offer in the lobby. The room is quite small, and the lights are dim. However, it is comfy enough for a few days in the city.

offers a basic stay, but our experience was disappointing. My friends, celebrating their honeymoon, received an accusatory letter on their second day, alleging they had smoked in their room—a claim they firmly deny. The letter’s rude tone caused them unnecessary stress and made them feel unwelcome for the remainder of their stay.
The hotel’s atmosphere felt off, and its location on a busy main road resulted in noticeable noise at night. Upon our departure, it took us an extra 15 minutes to leave our room, during which we received three separate knocks urging us to hurry.
Overall, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

My wife left her handbag on the seat with bank cards and Christmas money in. The restaurant manager Joanna found it and would not accept a reward neither would any of the staff. Thank you so much.

Woeful. Painfully slow service in what was a pretty much empty restaurant. Rude staff. Cold food. Back to McDonald's in the future.

It's a burger king, pretty much the same as all the others. It has a fill your own drinks machine with some interesting flavours.

I ordered chicken burger, which I didn't like much. But my family ordered Veggie burger, which is really really nice . Ample space for car park. Washrooms were clean And service was good as well.

Visited here today fifty minutes waiting for food. Half table was served they ate and finished before the rest came out. First lot food not hot. Could not understand such poor service as place was empty, Maybe that's the reason why. Food was nice tasting and fairly priced. Would not be in a hurry to visit again.

Typical pub grub at reasonable prices. I've had better but I've also had a lot worse.

Sometimes the food can be reasonable. However on bad days, there seems no management control in getting the kitchen back in order. Cold fries, undercooked steaks. You can see a number of tables with grumbles. As the complaints fly in, management do almost nothing to take charge, and the same mistakes get repeated. A cold burger, promised with a replacement, returns with the same burger, but warmed up a bit.

The management has changed twice in the last year firstly for the better then almost back to where it was before hand.
Ale appears to only be a choice of two fairly tasteless green king options seem to be permanent fixtures London Glory or IPA ( how anything under 4% can be considered an IPA is beyond me).
There was a drinkable beer called east coast on free flow however that has had a glass over the tap for at least 10 days now.
Food is good value but comparisons between the pictures/ description in the menu and what is served may suggest the chef short serves to protect his margins.

Ok the place is dirty empty glass and rubbish all over the place outside.
Inside tables and menu dirty and sticky could do with a good clean.
Barmaid took our order didn't seem happy .
Food we had 2 mixed grills and to sauce the steak was really chewy, sausage was cold chips had been rewarmed and onion was soggy.
The chicken and Gammon was really nice as well as the sauce.
Shame the waitress didn't even check on how the food was.
I think this place needs a good clean and staff need need training and how to keep good standards.
