Warm welcome from front of house. Taken to our room which was fantastic. Server very reasonable drinks before heading out for a meal.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were incredible helpful with food abd transport recommendations. The decor is fun and the room was clean and comfortable. The weather wasn't great so we didnt use it, but the outside space looked lovely.
Parking is a bonus, we parked and got the bus in to town, far cheaper and easier than parking in town! Will definitely return.

Cool hotel even if loud at times
This is a gorgeous hotel with plenty of character and a decent location in the North of Oxford, near shops and eateries. As it is a quirky old building, you do hear the footsteps shuffling of your upstairs neighbours, but I would return if ever in town again.

We stayed at the Galaxie Hotel in Oxford as a family and had a very good experience. When a crib for our baby wasn’t available, the staff immediately upgraded us to a larger room to make our stay more comfortable. This thoughtful gesture really made a difference for us. The room was clean, the service attentive, and the location convenient. We truly appreciated the extra effort from the hotel team.

Lovely hotel!
Quintessential old English hotel. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Entrance, reception, lounge, breakfast area and bar are definitely 5*.

Very beautiful place but 3 things
Beautiful hotel but three problems: first one was that I could hear everything in the hallway and I could only assume anyone can hear anything I do as well. Second was that someone kept slamming their door so hard that my TV shook. Multiple times in the day. I have no idea what their problem was but I wanted to yell at them. Lastly, breakfast ended at 9am which is quite early. Checkout is at 10:30am. So although it was a great hotel, if people are slamming doors and you will miss breakfast if you had any evening plans, it kind of outweighs the nice bits.

Service focused boutique hotel. Andrew on reception was exceptional, couldn't help us enough.

Hotel is lovely, fantastic decoration and design, so much to look at it was really fun and quirky. So quirky that for breakfast a toy train runs around the breakfast room.

The room was lovely (105) however the double glazing was rubbish and we heard all of the cars going past which woke us early.

You can park up, pay and leave your car there and get buses into town centre.

No bar but plenty of restaurants and bars in summer town.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Service overall, however, was a little slow, especially on what seemed like a rather quiet night.
The food was perfectly alright, but did not leave behind any particular impression, neither positive nor negative.
If you're looking for decent Indian cooking, you're right here; for something exceptional, look further afield.

Very disappointing. Tiny servings (1 prawn in an entree for £6 and 6 tiny cubes of meat in a supposed main course for £10). Sauces tasted like some kind of supermarket product. Not good enough.

Only popped in for a drink to break up car joyrney I have never seen such a dirty coffee shop nearly all the tables have dirty crockery on them and as for the toilets well they need a jolly good scrub. And as for the staff they carried on their conversation for a good couple of minutes before making eye contact and acknowledging that we were there. Come in Starbucks standards are slipping.
