Rabble in Edinburgh

This place is so lovely! We stayed in room 10 which was on the top floor. The room was gorgeous and had everything you would need. There was a hair drier, hair straighteners, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Everything was great quality including a small smog fridge in the room. Felt luxurious but cosy. Would recommend and we’d stay here again.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Rooms are a good size with excellent facilities. Massive towels, GHD Hairdryer and straighteners, iron and board, espresso machine. Lovely decor throughout. Great evening meal, lovely cocktails and delicious breakfast. Stayed here for an event at the playhouse and location was great for a straight walk to there.

We had a lovely stay here, the staff were all friendly and approachable. Service was great. The room was clean and well equipped with a good coffee machine. It is in a really good location, would definitely recommend it.

Spent one night here , staff were lovely & we had a complimentary cocktail which was a really nice surprise. The room was really well equipped with coffee machine , kettle , iron , hairdryer & even straighteners. The bed was comfy , the only issue was it was a bit noisy outside in the morning as the room we were in was at the back but street level and vans kept arriving and banging their doors quite loudly. Breakfast was really lovely with plenty to eat, I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was nice they used Quorn or similar sausage rather than vegetable ones that most places seem to do. Location is absolutely perfect for exploring. We would certainly go back and recommend it to people.

My room was large, with a king-size bed, comfortable, and virtually silent from the street. I had a good, pleasant sleep. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. It could use some renovations and is a bit dated, but for the price, it's more than adequate, with amenities nearby and plentiful.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, so thank you for being so kind! I got a disabled-accessible room, which was clean and spacious. Basic amenities included mirrors, a kettle, a shower, and a TV (I wish it was bigger). The location is good, about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, but there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. Excellent value for money, and I would book this room again!

I’ve been meaning to write this since our visit in September because the team at Rabble truly saved our trip! After a last-minute change to our travel plans led to a room misunderstanding, the staff showed us what world-class hospitality looks like. Michaella and Olivia were absolute stars—they stayed calm, found us a great alternative hotel within walking distance for our first night, and even treated us to lunch and coffee while we waited. They turned a stressful moment into a lovely afternoon. When we checked into Rabble the next day, we fell in love with the place. It’s such a hip, airy, and stylish boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfy, and beautifully designed. We also can’t say enough about the Taphouse and Grill. The food was so good that we ended up eating almost every meal there! Huge shoutout to Lara and Louise at the bar, as well as the night manager and bartender, for making us feel so welcome every time we walked in. It’s rare to find a hotel that is this 'cool' while also being this kind and accommodating. We won't even look at other hotels for our next Edinburgh trip—we’ll be heading straight back to Rabble!
