Staff are very helpful/nice. Hotel needs some remodeling. We check in late and there was no hot water and outside temp was -1. But they were able to fix the issue.

The hotel seems pretty rundown despite obvious upgrades to the room. The room was pretty clean. The bed was not comfortable. There were no outlets to charge phones by the beds. I had to plug into the one in the bathroom. The one by the coffee maker requires the light to be on to work. The hotel advertises guest laundry but it's apparently in a building they've closed so not accessible. The location is good if you only have a short layover but being near the airport is far away from everything else to do in Anchorage. The breakfast was decent but only offered orange juice and coffee for drinks. Not even water which we had to ask staff for. Staff were helpful with storing our bags, check in, etc.

Very close to the airport, the room is spacious and bright, there is Chinese service at the front desk, the toilet in the room I stayed in was clogged, and there was water on the carpet on the fourth floor. The experience is poor value for money

It's ok , you get what you pay for. The location is the best part it's about a 10 mi drive from downtown and 5 minutes to the airport they do offer a shuttle to both. Drivers were super fast , they did not make us wait. Staff was friendly and tried to help us as much as they could. They offer free breakfast with your stay which was OK except for Monday's when a lovely lady really tries to improve the eggs. Nothing fancy , the rooms are large. Just a place to sleep while touring around Anchorage.

Truck got broke into and robbed in their parking lot. Girlfriend lost thousands of dollars worth of clothes and other personal belongings.
Their cameras were not working. Staff indicated they haven’t worked for a really long time. Lady at the front said she has asked for the owner to fix them but has been ignored.
The shower had hair on the walls and used shampoo bottles laying about. Obviously wasn’t cleaned.
I would never stay at this or any Alex hotel and suites ever again.
