Comfort Inn I-10 West at 51st Ave in Phoenix

Beds were still and uncomfortable. The towels had a stain and smelled. When l tried to call the reception it kept giving a busy tone. Would not recommend.

The bed was stiff and uncomfortable. No soap was provided, towels had an odor and stain. Doors would not shut properly. Carpet dirty, hairs on the bed and phone, tried to call the front desk and the phone was disconnected.

Rooms were dirty; countertops, furniture & curtains. Appliances & fans were noisy. Common area carpets were stained. Faucet & towel racks loose & wobbly. Moved to one new room, just as bad. Requested to cancel reservation, Mgr didn’t seem to care. Sarcastically asked if he should make a list of issues we told him about. Had friends tell us that had same issues last year, moved out. The owner should be embarrassed, certainly not up to Comfort Inn standards!!

This hotel isn’t what it looks like in the pictures, don’t get it. Once we got there we saw why it was cheaper than others. The area is not nice at all with weird people walking around, and the hotel seems like it’s just old and not taken care of. The inside of the hotel has a carpet all around that looks old, dirty, and beat up. The inside also reeks of air fresheners that although they smell good, it gives off the impression that it’s covering a smell and it’s just too strong we got tired of smelling it. The hallways also felt like they were uneven or something.

First issue we had when we got to the room was the toilet had a slow flush and then got clogged right away. We had to call the front desk for a plunger. Then we noticed the pillows and bed sheets smelled like they hadn’t been washed in months and had just been sitting there collecting dirt. They smelled old and dusty. After a while we noticed the room had an unpleasant sewer-like smell or something. At this point we decided that we were going to stay the night but were going to cancel our next two nights and hope for a refund.

The one thing we were looking forward to a lot was the jacuzzi. We took our only two towels they supplied and when we got there the jacuzzi was freezing. And yes it was on. This was our last straw and we decided to not even stay the night even if we didn’t get a refund.

The only reason I don’t give it a 1 star review is because the front desk employee named Bea was really nice and helpful

Staff was friendly, however, a late check-out was only available if I booked an extra night; then we still got locked out. Bathroom fan did not work and the elevators would move even with the doors open, quite spooky actually!

They lost our reservation or gave away our room. Either way we arrived in the middle of with no room, no help and had to walk nearly a mile at 3am to get another hotel room.

The floors were dirty. The one bed had bed bugs. The latch was missing off the door. The fire alarm was in the drawer. There were towels and no wash cloths. Then no floor mat. No shampoo.

Rooms snelled like cigarettes. Carpet stsined and old furniture..
