Just stayed here and it was the worst stay of my entire life, no exaggeration. The only halfway save was the waterfall at River Ranch. Lazy River was glacier water ICE cold. The slide was only open upon request. Other pools were quite chilly. Hotel pool was disgusting. Rusted out exterior falling into the pool bar, exterior missing gutters and really worn. Pool stairs the tiles were all cracked and missing. One hot tub didn’t work the other was hot but everyone piled in a 5 ft area because the main pool was too cold to swim. A dance competition with over 1000 guests were staying on site. Dance families were so loud we had to request a room switch. Woken up at 7 am to a bull horn megaphone shouting “Are you ready? Let me hear you scream!” Followed by hundreds of girls screaming at the top of their lungs outside our room. The new room that we switched to the old room air conditioning didn’t work. We had to leave the patio door open all night to cool off. Hilton needs to start re-evaluating! This property needs serious attention which is sad because it has the potential to be beautiful again. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel today.

I stayed in this location with my family for 3 days from December 20 until December 23 2025 .
A horrible, outdated , old property, None of those pictures you see on their website matching or corespondent to the actual Hotel we stayed and claimed as 4 stars hotel . The place is filthy, raggedy, flooring and carpeting are from the 80’s . The lobby of the hotel looks like a homeless shelter,a tiny desk and couple of small furniture with a printer on top . Inside the lobby you have a flea market style of a vendor offering coffee water and soda.
This hotel is advertised as 4 star. It doesn’t worth even 1 star. There’s a huge construction in the back of the building and behind that a swimming pool with lazy river that’s also very outdated. The only and only good thing was the breakfast . They turned the gift shop to a temporarily breakfast corner, because of construction. the breakfast corner was a very outdated building with old tables and chairs from 70’s. Actually I was the only person there eating breakfast. They should close down this property immediately and reopen it once it’s ready with fresh new look, new furniture, bed , mattress , flooring, carpet, Entertainment system, an updated lobby. This location is stuck in 70’s . For 3 nights they charged me 1k for a homeless shelter style of accommodation. Very , very disappointed and I will never go back.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL AND DON’T RUIN YOU VACATION. I HAVE BEEN TO MANY HOTELS BUT NEVER SAW ANYTHING LIKE IT. THIS IS A ZERO STAR HOTEL.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The photos online are completely misleading — the property looks nothing like them. It feels more like a rundown motel than a hotel. The rooms were dirty from the moment we arrived, and there were no amenities available. The entire hotel is old, neglected, and clearly in need of major renovation. There isn’t even a restaurant on-site, and based on the condition of the property, it seems like they are barely beginning to remodel.

Despite all of this, we were still charged a resort fee $15 dls plus taxes $1.99 dls on that resort fee even though this place is absolutely not a resort. We stayed with my family and my son’s soccer club, and everyone in our group was unhappy with the conditions. There was humidity on the walls, the rooms felt uncomfortable, and the staff was not friendly or helpful at all.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just left. First room 1247 was old, dirty, carpet was torn and filthy, ac was not working properly (never got warmer than 63). Moved to 1312 - carpet filthy, torn, mirror frame in bathroom broken. Both rooms had unpleasant odors.
Jacuzzi was not working, pool area was rundown, construction everywhere (which is great but I wish it was disclosed upfront), the property has significant deferred maintenance and damage. The lobby is in decent shape.

We were there for a reunion. The day of the reunion there was a "water emergency" there was no water, when it was restored, there was no hot water to shower.

The positive - it was within walking distance to a wonderful Italian restaurant Tutti Santi, the reunion at Aunt Chiladas, and the pub the reunion happy hour was held at.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
Bed was comfortable.

Very disappointed Hilton fan. I would have to agree with the Motel 6 comparison.

Priced like a pristine resort. Not worth the price.

I wanted to write a review to help balance out some of the negative comments about the construction and to give a clearer picture of my personal experience.

Yes, the hotel is currently undergoing construction, and yes, the rooms could use an update—but I still found the property to be really lovely. The pool area and gym were fantastic, and the construction never interrupted my sleep or overall comfort.

While dining options were a bit more limited, I ate at the restaurant by the pool and had a great meal. I also took two fitness classes at the gym, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed.

If you're looking for a picture-perfect resort experience, it might be best to wait until after construction is complete. But if you're open to enjoying a beautiful property at a discounted rate—with some construction nearby—I highly recommend staying here.

Bonus: because of the ongoing renovations, nothing felt crowded. I had entire pools to myself, the water was warm, and the overall atmosphere was quiet, calm, and relaxing.

Everything was broken or under construction.
Carpets are decades old. My room had broken exhaust fan, tub that didn't drain properly, and a front door coming off the hinges. Hot Tub had broken jets and the cabana restaurant and bar were permanently closed.
The place has not been maintained at all for years- and I was shocked that a busted old hotel like this could be called a Hilton at all.

Our stay was very pleasant at the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak. The only inconvenience was the major construction in site. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

Half of the building is currently under construction and I feel like they should just keep it close until the construction is all the way complete and it will make the property look even better. They need to redo all the rooms and update the amenities. I went there for a nice little getaway and did not enjoy myself. They only have one Jacuzzi and of course it wasn’t working because it was under construction. The lounge chairs at the pool were all ripped broken. I’m glad I didn’t pay for a cabana because those chairs were dirty and stained old and outdated. The food was trash! Over cooked and dry. I even got harassed going into the pool area by a lady named Rihanna, who seem sweet at first, however, she harassed me to check my bag and was questioning what was in my bag, and if they sold the items at the resort and it made me feel very uncomfortable. part of the reason of me not going back will definitely be because of her. She acted like I was a criminal by going to the pool with a backpack. They pump up the waterpark like it’s such a big deal when it’s really just three pools A lazy river and a slide. One of the pools is freezing cold you can’t even get in. The other pool is decently warm and the lazy river water felt better than all three pools so you kind of just want to be in a lazy river all day. I will not be coming back sorry I rather spend a little more money and stay at a real resort. This place is a glorified motel. Good luck.

I was a solo traveler. Would be absolutely great for a family. Almost made me wish I had children or a family to swim and do activities with. Rooms are huge and roomy with balcony for single traveler.
