I believe this hotel is no longer in operation. I tried calling them at 520.622.3000 listed on their business cards and the number has been disconnected. Another victim of the New Depression caused by the results of COVID?? Tripadvisor should verify if they should still be listed.

On the Internet this large establishment presents better than actual, largely because it has an impressive foyer. Elsewhere, in passageways and the lift, it is rather worn. Rooms are spacious and clean. Its location next to a U-Haul industrial site detracts from its setting which is close to the university area, some good restaurants and easy return back on to the I 10. A modestly good breakfast is offered in a large room offering views out to a nice pool area. The good tariff we got, and the pleasant staff, made our stay pretty good.

Winter for business conference. I haven't been there in many years since they remodeled it. And it was beautiful the double staircase is coming down into the lobby kind of reminded me of some old movies. It was just beautiful very well done staff is very friendly. And the hotel itself was very neat and kept very well. Even when the potted plants on the inside was so well maintained that it looked fake. It was just a great place to go.

The lobby of this hotel is very nice. The pictures of the double staircase lead the reserver to believe it is a classy facility of days long past. It really is nothing of the sort. They are renovating the rooms, however. I "think" we got one of those, but it was not easy to tell. The a/c-heating unit was extremely noisy, but we were thankful that it had a "constant" fan button to help with that and to drown out the train a few blocks away.

The good: The bed was soft, as were the pillows, water pressure in the shower was good, towels were adequate size. The room was clean and well decorated. Be careful, the bathroom floor is smooth tile and when it gets wet, it is slippery. The hairdryer was good quality with a lot of power. The front desk staff was very welcoming.

The bad: No conditioner, just conditioning shampoo in a bottle half the size of other hotels. What is one to do with long hair? There is a lot of noise from the hallway due to the doors being too thin. We didn't hear any noise from neighbors, but the sound of doors opening and closing down the hallway along with conversations was a constant. Speaking of noise, who lets their renovation crew play extremely loud music while working at a hotel? I was trying to work in the afternoon on a web call and my colleagues could hear the music. The trash from the renovations was just thrown out of the rooms (mattresses, curtains, toilet paper), all within the view of our window. I wish I had taken a picture of the mess that we had a view of. Needless to say, we kept our curtains closed the whole time. Had there not been trash everywhere, we would have had a view of the pool, a large grassy area, and a beautiful orange tree. I think either the crew needs to be cognizant of the fact that people are their on vacation, so don't make it a non-pleasant one, or close the whole place down while you renovate. You are not allowed to bring coolers in , or any outside food or drink to the pool, but none is available for purchase either. They do have a snack bar with limited choices to purchase at the front desk. The restaurant is closed except for breakfast, which you need a ticket for. There is no bar area. So, no restaurant or bar and there is NOTHING within walking distance of this hotel. You will have to drive anywhere you want to go. There is not even a convenience store nearby. The lighting in the bathroom is pretty dismal. No pad or paper to write. I wanted to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff, but had no way to write a note to let them know the money was for them to take.

Calling yourself a "boutique" hotel doesn't make it so.

Very nice hotel. Super quiet. Would love to see it at its full potential with an open restaurant and the pool and hit tub open past 6pm, as well as the fire pits working. The front desk girls were great amd helped with whatever I needed. Comfy bed. Quiet. Clean. Beautiful property. Close to everything. I'd stay again.

The architecture inside the historic Hotel Tucson is very warm and inviting. The dining at the restaurant The Cup Cafe is spectacular. You can enjoy drinks in their cozy bar Tiger’s Taproom. Then you can retire for the night in your hotel room upstairs. The rooms are small as it is historic but it is awesome to stay right downtown for a reasonable price. We will do it again soon.

Beautifully renovated rooms- the decor is high quality - no particle board here. The room doors are impressive (I love a nice door) - definitely quality. We stayed in the renovated section and were pleased with our pool view from our balcony- watching the monsoons from our balcony last night was awesome. Once the entire hotel is renovated, I know this place will be impressive. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to personally thank Kaitlin for her friendly welcome and assistance with food delivery and helping us out with silverware. Kaitlin, you are awesome- thank you for making our stay during our travels enjoyable.
