The staff is accommodating and polite. The room is neat and clean.
My issue is with the fees. Properties around the park are abusing visitors with additional fees. One such fee is the parking fee. Having to pay for parking in addition to renting a room at the hotel is infuriating but to be told by their valet service that I cannot park in parking slots coned off for valet and the valet even mentioned I need to find a spot quickly before the lot got full. I paid the hotel their required parking fee and I'm not guaranteed a parking spot?! When you scan the parking lot it's obvious the hotel is not concerned with accommodating parking for their patrons as you can observe dozens of valet coned off parking spots.
The hotel is taking away from their paying guests a convenience for parking (That the hotel mandates with a fee) and is greedily using those parking spots originally meant for guests of the hotel for persons visiting the area daily for parking income.
I don't blame the personnel employed their for they are customer service oriented. But I do blame the owner of the hotel for creating a parking scheme that is not customer service oriented and is geared for greed.
Also I'm fairly certain the parking lot lines were repainted in a manner to gain more parking slots. This meant vehicles are closer to each other and thus my car received door dings and abrasions from inconsiderate persons opening their vehicle door into my door.
We already pay an exorbitant price for the convenience of staying directly across from the park. We should be treated better by the property owners and not seen as atm available for grabbing every last dollar from.
Happy with the hotel but not happy with their policies and business practices.

We've stayed at Tropicana Inn & Suites a couple times now for our trips to Disneyland. I remember being more impressed the first time. On our recent visit (Feb 2026), our room was very mediocre. The beds weren't comfortable, the bathroom smelled like musty towels (maybe the shower curtain hadn't been washed in too long?), and the shower faucet handle was confusing to every member of the family - not to mention the water temperature was unpredictable and inconsistent.

That being said, the valet staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the hot tub is huge, and the room certainly had the amenities we needed. It was particularly nice to have five bath towels already in the room since we'd booked for our whole family to stay (2 adults and 3 kids). Far too many places only give you three towels no matter how many people are on the reservation.

We spent 10 days in California and this was the best night sleep I got the entire time. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and convenient to Disneyland. Granted we didn't spent much time in the room but it helped us get a good nights rest to head back out into the theme park the next day.

Overall I would recommend this to anyone that wants to spend some time in the theme parks

We stayed here a couple times but after this last time we never will again. The location is great, but that's it. The rooms are fine. The parking is so stupid. Everyone acts polite and friendly right up to the second that there's a problem. We stayed for four days and on our last day there, and our last day at Disney they called in the afternoon saying we would have to pay a $300 cleaning fee. After talking with them they explained the cleaning fee is from the first day and how there was food all over the floor. We have three young kids so yes there were cracker crumbs and debris on the floor, it would easily be cleaned with a broom and vacuum. It was never cleaned by the hotel, they didnt even change the bedding the whole time of our stay either. They told us because food was "smeared into the carpet" that they would need to deep clean and shampoo the carpet and that is the cleaning fee. So they don't deep clean between guests? Gross! We went and purchased a broom and cleaned the floor. We asked management to come show us what they were talking about for spots where food was "smeared into the carpet" they kept refusing and just kept saying that they had seen it. I was asking for them to come show me what they are talking about. I did the job of the house cleaning and the room was left exactly how we entered it. Extremely rude and definitely ruined the Disney magic for this mama. No thanks. Needs better management and better workers. Please improve and take some classes on customer service.

Our suite felt lovely to stay in. Clean, bright, modern, didn't have that 'old motel room' smell and feel. As a small motel, it also didn't have the ugly cubicle-farm feel of the big huge hotels nearby. Housekeeping was timely and impeccable too. The pool is kept nice and cool and the hot tub is not too hot, and both are kept extremely clean. And of course the five-minute walk to Disneyland was pretty great. The kitchen has a full-sized fridge, stove, and sink, along with a collection of pots, frying pans, kitchen knives, serving utensils, bowls, a strainer, *almost* enough tableware for five, and (surprisingly) a meatloaf dish.

My only legitimate complaint is that the kitchen lacked a cutting board, a cheese grater, and towels. I don't really consider a kitchen usable without these items. We made do, but it was kinda awkward.

Walking distance is closer to Disneyland & DCA than Disney hotels. Free wifi. Also, daily parking fee runs around $12.00. And you can see Tower of Terror from the parking lot!

We enjoyed staying at the Tropicana. The walking distance to Disneyland Park was not very far at all. Definitely the closest we have ever stayed. The rates were good compared to some others around it.
Our room had 2 queen beds and an extra fold out chair/bed. There were a lot of pillows on the beds and sheets and a blanket for the fold out bed. They have a pool that looks nice but we didn't get a chance to try it out. We stayed 5 days so we had one full service cleaning mid way through. Other days they just emptied the garbage and replaced any towels we left on the ground. Staff I encountered were all nice. The room seemed clean.
The ice machine on our floor didn't work for a little while but we could go up a floor for ice. The day we left, the elevator near our rooms was out of service but there was another not too far. Overall I would stay here again.

Location, location, location!!! Easy close walking distance, which means a lot when you are disabled. But not only that, the rooms are clean and we love the friendly staff, and the convenience of the guest laundry. The Park View Suite with 2 balcony's is wonderful for families, giving you a view and a little privacy during your stay. We've already booked our next stay. Love the Tropicana!!!

Nice little motel in an excellent location for Disneyland. Staff were lovely, rooms were a good size for a family of 4 with a fridge and microwave. Didn’t visit the pool as used a base for going to and from the Disney parks but looked okay, albeit in the middle of the car park! Great little shop of site, a lot cheaper for drinks/snacks before heading into Disney!!

Very amazing! It was so close to the parks. Finally I was able to get a hotel near the parks and actually take breaks in the day of walking. Literally only took us 5 minutes to get there. The rooms were amazing and clean. The beds were comfy and cozy. I would definitely stay here again. And I sure will come again. Thank you Tropicana!

The area of this place is beautiful as well as the city had a older male server and I had left an iPhone and asked him was an iPhone left there he said no then I went to the restroom and my fiance said to him that it was a black phone and it was mine and he finally pulled the iPhone out ! Awesome holiday drinks. Good steak and burgers, shakes, hot chocolate, breakfast , crepes with nutella. Yum ! Get some better more professional help and I would be given you 5/5 But whenever the waiter pulled that and rushed to get the change from the bill I know from personal experience that in customer service waiting tables especially that doesn't sit well with management nor the guest

This I hop is huge! Tons of room. Parking is in the back which is fine lots of parking. Restaurant was clean and the staff was super nice and fast. There was a balloon man walking through making balloons for kids. Great place, very busy, in a great location!

This is right across Disneyland which is super convenient after a long day of walking and fun. You can grab a quick dinner and relax. Our waitress was super nice and very helpful. You'll get great service and again, right across from Disneyland.

I ordered out. The cashier was really friendly and the service was fast. The parking a lil tight but that is normal because it is in FRONT of Disneyland and that is the best part!!!

Service is quick, friendly and the restaurant looks very clean. Furniture is a bit worn but I image they get a lot of butts on them. It was entertaining watching a balloon artist make very good replicas of Disney characters.

Our experience was completely different from those that I've read. We have 13 of us together and had a great experience. Very good food, prepared just as ordered, and appropriately priced. Our waiter, Chris, was fantastic. He anticipated and addressed our every need.

The Fillet Minion Medallions are my post Half-Marathon go to! So flavorful, So tender, and So wonderfully done every time! Add the Mashed Potatoes, and another side to that and you have a real winner!

We wanted to end our four day stay at Disneyland with a wonderful meal at Tony Roma's. Unfortunately, this was not to be the case. Whoever was the chef this day totally destroyed all four of our meals. The two steaks were extremely dry and tough. The two racks of ribs were total charcoal on one side and extremely dry without adequate sauce. Most of all four meat servings were left on the plate, really being unedible. The waiter even replaced one of the small racks of ribs with one of more acceptable quality. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. I told the waiter that this was absolutely the worst meal that I have ever had in any restaurant, anywhere in the world. Definitely not up to par with previous visits to Tony Roma's. Whoever was responsible for overseeing the quality of food served, totally was derelict in their duties. I felt sorry for the waiter who had to try and compensate for the chef's inadequacies. I can only hope that this was an isolated incident, but I fear that on this particular day, someone totally failed to provide a decent product for consumption, and there might be others forced to eat dry charcoal. This should have been a wonderful end to our vacation-- but it was quite the opposite. It really ruined our day. Unfortunately, I am reluctant to give this restaurant another chance.
