USA Hostels Hollywood

I stayed in the hostel for two nights. I was in room 117 - a 6 bed female room with a full bathroom inside of the room. Overall, I'd say I had a good stay. The room was kept clean by the staff clean as was the common space throughout the hostel. I appreciated having the privacy screen and locker which both conveniently had two outlets for charging things. There is one full mirror in the room which I didn't like because it was constantly being hogged by other roommates and I had somewhere to be early in the morning and couldn't get a good look at myself because everyone was up getting dressed around the same time. But luckily where the bathrooms up stairs in the lounge. The only reason why I didn't give his place a 5 is because there was a slight smell. I think it's because of where my room was located. It subsided after a while but I feel like it's because I become nose blind to it. There was a free sandwich night and bbq night both of which I chose not to partake in but I thought it was a great perk. I felt safe walking at night and during the day and would recommend this place for a quick stay. Would stay again and I have a video that I'll more than likely upload.

This was my first time at a Hostel. I was not sure what to expect. However, the staff was very friendly and helped me out right away. They showed me my room and educated me on everything I needed to know. The room was clean and the bathroom was way nicer than I was expecting. The only issue was the USB ports in my bunk were broken but luckily I had a regular plug charger. I have since stayed at another USA Hostel and can say this company of Hostels has a high standard. Highly recommend and a great price.

I had an awesome stay! I was actually sad to leave because all of their employees were so friendly and I also feel like I made some great friends in my room. Those gals were the coolest! I had an amazing experience and the free trips to the beach or Hollywood Sign & free food drink plus karaoke night ?!? Shut up. I was so there for it. Would stay again.

Can’t stress enough how good of an experience I had here. I even extended my stay by a day and wished I had extended another day! Met the coolest people here and created some of the best memories of my life on the trips we went on through the hostel (Beverly Hills walking tour & Hollywood sign hike). Befriended two Australians, a Brit, a Mexican, a Brazilian and another American all at this one hostel and I’m so grateful.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Cool lounge areas upstairs and outside. Lockers were really helpful and you can buy a lock for $5 to keep. Dorms were clean, bed was super cozy and came with little phone charging shelf and a light, bathrooms were very clean, and the breakfast, while quite simple, was really nice to have each morning (toast/bagel/pancakes, fruit, coffee & juice). Amazing area too, in between Hollywood & Sunset Boulevards! Good proximity to Griffith Observatory, Walk of Fame, and so much more.
SO thankful I came here & I can definitely recommend! While there was some noise outside next to the hostel at night and in the morning, and the towels were a bit small, I still give it 5 stars. Everyone I spoke with there had the same positive things to say about the hostel as myself. Thanks USA Hostels Hollywood, you guys freaking rock!!

Had a lot of fun here. They do a lot of activities - karaoke & margaritas, BBQ, hiking to the Hollywood sign, etc. I only did the karaoke, but it was a blast. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming.

They have lockers in the rooms (bring your own or purchase one at the counter). You can also leave you luggage for the day if you have things to do after you checkout. They also have complimentary ear plugs, which is great because you will need them.

Definitely bring ear plugs (or use the ones provided) and an eye mask if you're in a dorm room - some people have no respect for the rules in regards to quiet time and turning the lights on/off.

They offer a full kitchen with complimentary coffee, juice, bread, fruit, and pancakes.
If you don't feel like cooking, they very close to Hollywood Blvd and lots of good restaurants.

They are also very close to public transportation which is just a couple of stops away from Universal Studios.

Overall great location and experience. Will go back for sure!
