When I checked in at the hotel, I happened to see the beautiful sunset on the large terrace on the first floor. The service staff was very friendly and brought a microwave for us. Thank you very much! The surrounding sea view is unforgettable!

It was already evening when we arrived in Monterey. After checking in, we hurried to dine at a Thai restaurant not far away. The town was very quiet. Although we didn’t pay much attention to the environment around the hotel, when we went to the hotel for coffee early in the morning, we saw how beautiful the sea and sky next to the hotel were. The guest rooms were also very clean. I felt that the trip was worthwhile. It was a pity that we should have stayed one more night. I guess I’ll make up for it next time. 😊

The hotel is fantastic, views and rooms and the seals nearby. All amazing.

But the best part was Conrad, who helped us immensely when our car had a flat tire and we had to leave it at the hotel. He took care of everything for us in order to allow us to continue our trip. We are both so grateful. Thank you very much!

This is a relatively good hotel in this trip to the United States. It is close to the beach and the surrounding scenery is quite pleasing to the eye. But the balcony is a bit too small and the room is relatively old.

We recently stayed at Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa. We booked an ocean view room in August for our October trip. We paid almost 1,000 dollars for one night in an ocean view room.Technically it was an ocean view room, if you could look past the ugliness. It was a disappointing experience. The third floor room overlooked the hotel restaurant patio. There was no balcony outside the window, just an ugly metal grate. There was a partial view of the roof adjacent to the grate. It was soiled with bird droppings. We paid a fair amount of money for the awful view we experienced. When we complained at the front desk, we were offered a 1,200 suite if we paid an additional 400.00. We declined the offer. Please be aware the ocean view room may not be what you are anticipating. We will not be returning to Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa.
