The hotel stay was super comfortable, especially the TV – it was amazing for watching movies. The restaurant and breakfast were just okay, but we'd still happily return to this hotel!

For a hotel in Palo Alto, it's pretty good; aside from the exorbitant price, there don't seem to be any major problems. The hotel restaurant is delicious, although Nobu hotels all over the world are pretty much the same. Room service, except for the set meals, isn't great value for money and I wouldn't recommend it. There were few staff at the front desk, and they didn't provide bottled water. They did provide slippers, and the slippers were of fairly good quality.

This is always my go-to hotel whenever I visit Stanford. The location is excellent and safe, and the restaurant downstairs is incredibly popular; you basically can't get a dinner reservation without booking ahead.

Amazing location. Perfect for meetings in Palo Alto. Walking distance to everything. Room was super comfortable, great ambience and comfort. Room size is definitely on the small side, I guess that gives the feeling of being in Tokyo. Love the light color wood and utilization of space. Water pressure was horrible for a $500 night hotel and I was on the 3rd floor, not that high. Nice sound quality and overall comfort.

good hotel on awesome place. Only thing that is really annoying to me is the receptionist lady I had when checking out on 08/23 around 9 am. She (a black lady) doesn’t really want to service me and with very bad attitude. I cannot believe this is the service I got in a 5 star Japanese style hotel.

In comparison, all the other receptionists and valets are really nice, no complaints at all.

Great location. Restaurant downstairs is amazing with friendly staff and chef - they accommodated me even though I arrived 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and the food quality was still up to par. Valet parking is not available after like 10 PM, but I did not get a notification for that until the night of the second day, after I’ve checked out. Requested late checkout but still lost my keycard access after breakfast which was really annoying. Overall still a positive experience, but it’s probably deserved a 4.5

Nobu is always an excellent choice for staying in the premium/luxury segment. Nice clean rooms, clean and cozy bathrooms.
As in many California places, you might be surprised by water pressure in showers because of regulations (after Texas, it's almost non-existent in California).
Also, this location has only outsourced valet parking, and it works only until 10 PM. If you arrive later, you will have to park your car yourself (there are a couple of options around, but most of the time, you will have to walk at least one block).
Because of valet and not 24/7 in-room dining i can't give this location more than 4/5, but still a great choice.
