Staff, Food and convenience of stores are all great! The hotel needs to be updated, water damaged doors, Key cards that stop working and Air conditioner that leaks into the carpet. Smell in room was bad too.

This property in under remodeling, the parking lot is a mess of containers and chairs used as a barrier. The first room had not hot water. The front desk woman was rude and lazy. I wish I wouldn't have stayed there. Simply awful.

At first glance, everything looks good. Deeper look reveals rooms need a deep clean. Mildew/Mold under the A/C unit, dirt on the bathroom floor in the corners, etc.
Loud location being right off the highway, and no dining options nearby. Very difficult to get in and out. U-turns from both directions.
Good for a quick stop, but not multiple nights.

Was very nice and clean very .. the only thing the area is not nice and the room I had was in front of the elevator and all you can hear was people coming in and out breakfast was good very nice and clean

The area is at a very good location. The staff that check us in was very nice. The only thing that we did not like was that our room was by the door to go outside and we where not able to sleep good because people would go in and out a lot but other then that everything was very very nice. We would stay there again.

Nice property. A bit tough to turn into. Rooms are nice. Sime hooks/hangers in the bathroom would help. Sorry to sound petty ; but it was annoying to walk from room to room to get ready. AC was loud. Staff was great.

I do not recommend. We've stayed at many Holiday Inn Express(es) and this was by far the worst.
The good: the staff was friendly and helpful. They cleaned the room daily without having to request it, rare in a post-covid world.
The bad: the location was horrible. It's next to a run down, seedy motel, another hotel that is fenced in and abandoned, and two run down gas stations. It's impossible to get to, even though it's right next to the highway. You can't turn left into or out of the driveway, and you have to go a mile down the road to u-turn, and sit in wall-to-wall traffic along the way.
There was a cockroach on one of the beds. The bathroom had a door that was warped, cracked, and losing insulation due to humidity. The bathtub faucet leaked.

Not sure why this hotel has 4 stars. I had a very different experience. On this trip, I stayed at two different Holiday Inns Express. One in Deland and the other on south Davenport. South Davenport was a disappointment compared to Deland. Deland smelled clean, the staff was A+ in service and attitude. The rooms in Deland were clean, smelled good, and modern. The breakfast was very well presented. I didn’t even bother having breakfast at the one in South Davenport. I felt it would be gross, just like the rest of the hotel. I will not come here again. It’s very ghetto and grungy.

Food came fast but otherwise we were ignored. We stood at checkout for 10 minutes before they took our money. If I were dishonest, we could have just walked out without paying.

TLDR: Extremely slow service and mediocre food. I would not recommend this location.
Take this review with a grain of salt as our visit was on Thanksgiving...we arrived for a late dinner, approximately 8:30pm. We stood for 10 minutes waiting to be seated with about three other families waiting to be seated as well, at this time the dining room looked about 95% empty, but we only noticed two waitresses for the whole restaurant.
Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes to meet our waitress and place our order. The waitress was hilarious and very friendly. The food took forever to arrive, and by the time the rest of the table had nearly finished eating, our last member, who ordered a salad, received her meal. At this point (after having sat for about 30-40 minutes and having completed our meals) a drink refill was finally offered. The quality of food is what you would expect from a Denny's. The restaurant was less clean than other Denny's I have been too, and several of our silverware were not fully clean.

My server Carol was personable and respectful that I was not in a hurry. She checked in with me but did not hover. Observed her with a large family party and she had everyone laughing.

I always enjoy quick and quality service when it is much later than normal for a typical person. The McDonald's north of this location by four corners could learn a thing or two about that. The manager himself even took time to thank us for visiting. Just for clarification this visit occured around 12:30am or 0030 military. The prices weren't bad either. Only slightly more than if I had gone to the McDonald's. The quality of the food was at least three times that of the McDonald's. I'm only using McDonald's as an example being that they are the only other restaurant in the area open that has a comparable menu. I would defiantly recommend Denny's if you are in the area.

Only 3 stars because for a month or two the kids playground has been broken. When the kids playground was working the staff closed it at 8. In the Disney old town area.Disney and funspot and old town are open yet employees close the play ground. Full dining room and kids running around with nothing to play on. We just went across the street to MacDonald's where the food is not so good but the kids play area is open

If I could give this place a negative review I would the person at the drive thru was very rude and unprofessional. I ordered a different bun for meal because I am allergic to Sesame seeds the gave me two bottom buns that still had seeds on them and when I came in to return it they acted as if it wasn't a problem... A person's health is no joke or no slight matter! I would not recommend this Burger King!

This is the worst burger king I have ever been to. The food is never hot and fresh, the employees are very rude. The phone is never answered when you ask for it.

Order was wrong. Young lady on drive - thru didn’t welcome us or even smiled. Looked like she was upset. Couldn’t understand her heavy accent. There was no sprite or 7 up. No spicy nuggets. No more 2 for 5 now is 2 for 6. Didn’t have the original chicken sandwich. Staff need better training in customer care. This is my second time having a bad experience in here. Had to ask for napkins for the milkshakes all sloppy. Never again. No more second chances. Texas whopper was disgusting and the burgers don’t taste the same. McDonald’s here we come Wendy’s or any other place.
