We really enjoyed our stay at this impeccably maintained retro motel! It had all of the kitschy vibes of a 1950’s stay, while still being clean and comfortable. The pool area was especially nice, with comfortable lounge chairs, fluffy towels, and crystal clear, clean water. The rooftop deck was also a lot of fun to relax on at night. The only drawbacks we encountered were that the room was not very soundproof at all, and there was a lack of outlets anywhere near the bed, but both of those can easily be chalked up to the age of the property. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return again!

Wonderful hotel off the beaten path. Nice and quiet and only 2 blocks from Duval street. Staff was excellent and friendly and helpful. I will be back .

Stayed at El Patio for the 3rd time just a few days ago for about a week. Although it still remains very clean and quaint, I honestly don't know if I will return. You're unable to contact the front desk after 8 PM, there is no security, and it is so incredibly loud. I loved the new addition to the rooftop patio, it would be nice if it was an adult area only since most of the noise was due to children.

Good enough. I think the objective when staying in kw is to not be at your hotel. I’ve stayed in much pricier places and prefer this. Great place to shower and sleep. Price and location also not bad, friendly staff.

We had a great family vacation here in early October, it was a great trip, and we enjoyed our stay. The rooftop deck was our spot at night, watching the clouds is awesome! We will return if it remains affordable.

Great staff very accommodating but high priced for what you get. Old hotel old bed tiny wash basin in bathroom no place to put your toiletries but on the dresser needs shelves in bathroom for this the only things supplied is a small vial of shampoo and rwo bars of soap.Flooring is clean but old cracked tiles. It is a 6 block walk to Duval.

i spent 500 cad for 2 days on this stupid motel and here's what i got:
- Cockroaches
- Blocked toilet (once the owner made it work, and it again blocked next day)
- matchbox sized washroom
- The AC is 100 years old and makes very bad noise
- A spring mattress, very low quality
- Lamps are fitted on top of the bed board, you can hit your head and get hurt, i did twice.
- Very very basic room for what you've paid.
I would suggest to spend 100 more bucks and stay in some better setup.

I love this place! Keysy, quaint and very retro. George was sweet and accommodating. Room was very clean and comfortable. Love the rooftop patio!
