Beach Haus Bal Harbour Apart-hotel

There were cockroaches in the room. We asked for special service since we were on our honeymoon, and this was neglected. It was not possible to check out later. Cleaning costs a lot of extra money. The rooms are also cery noisy and the entrance code is the same as for the main entrance of our building where there is no reception. Very unsafe and sensitive for unwanted visitors. It was not worth paying so much. We were regretting not staying at the Ritz Carlton with our Platinum benefits, which was across the street. We asked for a compensation, but we were treated like we were stupid.

1 star 1 star My experience with the Beach Haus - Bal Harbour has been extremely disappointing. The first time I stayed at the hotel, my interaction with the Guest Service was already unpleasant and below expectations. I decided to give it another chance, but unfortunately, things got even worse. When I called to address an issue, I was assisted by Julian, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional. To make matters worse, he hung up on me without offering any assistance. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from a hotel that should prioritize hospitality and respect for its guests. After these experiences, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I hope they take serious action to improve their customer service.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. It tries to be a mix of hotel and Airbnb, but fails at both. The issues started at check-in—I arrived just an hour early, only to find no one at the front desk. When I went to the back to ask for help, I was met not with a warm greeting but a reminder that I wasn’t expected yet. During my multi-night stay, the room was only stocked with towels and coffee for the first day or two. When I requested more, I was told to "find a maid in the hallway"—something I never once encountered. Also, they charge extra if you want daily housekeeping, which wasn’t clear from the website. Overall, my experience matched other guests’ disappointing reviews. This place simply doesn’t live up to expectations. The only positives were the design of the rooms and the cleanliness. A lot of other competitors deliver on that and more.

The apartments are really nice and spacious We had a big issue with one of the managers or staff members when we asked him to help open up a room for us on our Sabbath and doors were all electronic. He point blank refused and stated 'its not my problem if your religion won't let you do it' and we should basically go get stuffed. Instead a kind neighbour helped us out who heard the encounter and was shocked. Of course this staff member wasn't obliged to help us and he's right that my religion isn't his problem, but there's a way to speak to people. Many people intentionally make choices about things that then go wrong, such us ourselves with our religion, does that mean though we can't ask other to help when in need! There's certainly no justification to be rude about it. As a side point I had made a prior call to the hotel about my access issues on the Sabbath and was told they would help me, on the Friday I again asked the lady at reception if she could help me on Saturday, I was told she could help me out anytime until 5pm when she leaves. On Saturday morning when I came down the receptionist came to tell me that her manager doesn't allow her to help us out. Please note this 'help' I needed would in reality have taken less than a minute

I checked in and I checked out. I had a bad feeling before my stay after an extremely rude phone conversation with the manager/owner. He basically stated that he didn't need my business. The front desk clerk followed his lead, she was incredibly rude and alloof and was more interested in her ramen noodles that serving my family. Terrible energy and horrible service. Price surges do not justify this property, Oh and beware....apparently daily housekeeping is NOT included when you book through ******* or *********** :/
