The location of the hotel is close enough to my conference venue, Fontainebleau, especially their new conference center is across the street, very convenient. My room was facing the building HVAC air vent , I can hear noise like running 24/7. The hotel is good, the location is good, larger windows and a balcony would be nice, but otherwise, no issues. The hotel charges a very high service fee, but they warn you about it upfront on the website. The deposit was refunded exactly one month later.

The hotel is in a great location with a swimming pool and a beach. Hotel residents can use parasols on the beach. The overall situation is in line with the positioning of the Holiday Inn, and you can enjoy the sea and beach in Miami with a lower budget.

The environment is good, not as noisy as others say, probably because the room is not directly above someone else's shop. The room is also quite large. It's the first time I've stayed in such a fully self-service hotel.

Everything is old in the hotel though still clean. But the bathroom is too slippery, the outdoor pool doesn’t look the same as the shown photos, while the noise from other rooms and the hallway is quite annoying from time to time.

Decently clean. Pool was nice and warm to be comfortable for winter weather. Beds are on the stuff side and they’re double instead of queen size.

Up here was amazing and very friendly and very helpful. Check-in was smooth and no problems at all just waiting for my deposit to come back on my card and I would give it a 10 out of 10.

I loved this hotel! If I return to Miami Beach, I will definitely stay there again. It was small and quaint and quiet which I appreciated. It was also one block from Collins Avenue where all of the shops and restaurants are. Plenty of places to walk to for meals or drinks. Very nice staff, hotel is exceptionally clean.

I had a fantastic time staying at the cadet hotel. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and bilingual, the location is amazing on the beach and Lincoln Road , and Jackie Gleason Theater and new world symphony, and Convention center. The hotel is very well taken care of and a wonderful place to stay with an on-site Cafe , etc. I highly recommend it!

The best thing about the hotel is location. Close to everything, beach, restaurants, public transport, etc. The hotel is quite outdated. Old furniture, etc. Also, Hotel charges for damaged towels, which I found unusual. Got charged for one of the towel, cause it had hair colour.

A very cozy hotel in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to all the action of Miami, with a private beach just a few minutes' walk away. Towels are provided at reception. The staff is very friendly. The hotel has a backyard with a jacuzzi. The room was decent, with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom, while small, was fine. The only downside was the musty smell when you first enter the room.

I along with a few colleagues stayed here for a business trip. The location is in walking distance to where we needed to meet along with many food options and even some shopping options nearby by. Booked it last minute. Spent one night with my wife. Nice clean large room and bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. Nice restaurant with great food out front on street front. Elevator didn’t work when we were leaving but other than that great experience.

Everything was wonderful! They have beach chairs you can carry to your desired spot on the beach. The live music every night was great. The ONLY issue was the women's bathroom in the lobby, to me it feels it is lacking the same attention as the rest of the hotel. But other than that, the rooms look as pictured and we would definitely stay again in the future!

A/C wasn’t working properly and we were told we were upgraded from an ocean view to a balcony room but ocean view was blocked by the roof. Wasn’t pleased with that. That was a downgrade room 410

The hotel has an infestation of drain flies. The facility needs to have a professional exterminator come regularly to spray and get rid of that issue. I had to get rid of several of those drain files, a few spiders and a roach.

Great location on south beach...will stay again

Excellent hostel with a fantastic location, and for minimal money too! The staff are friendly and genuinely always ready to help. The rooms are clean, with daily housekeeping, and the beds and their ladders are sturdy. There's a hot water dispenser near the pool (next to the washing machines).

It is very cheap and central hotel. You can eat or drink or shop around.

IMy stay was in the 4 bed room (women only). The room was a bit tiny but clean. The only thing that bothered me was the noisy air conditioner.

In the room, as in all the rooms, there was a safe. One morning, I forgot to put my city bag back inside it - the one with my passport, all my cash (a lot of cash), my watches, and everything else. I want to sincerely thank and congratulate the housekeeping staff for not being tempted to take anything, even though it would have been easy. These people are truly honest.

The room was very clean and nice. The restaurant was very good, we ate Dinner, Lunch and one breakfast there. The beach and pool folks were nice. Parking for $25 a day was unnecessary.

The view that I paid $3000 for overlooked a tacky roof. The hotel next-door was doing construction. I was sick in my room for a week, listening to the banging. The only thing that saved my whole day were the employees with their kindness the room service checking in on us to make sure we were OK, but the amenities itself were not worth the money that I spent.

This is Miami Beach so lots of activity going on so it's not a quiet area. Was fine for me for a work trip, 10 to 15 minute. Walk to convention center. If you have a car park across the street at the parking garage that is $20 a day. There are 3 near by but only 1 is $20 per day.

The staff at the Courtyard by Marriot Miami Beach - South Beach made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. The room was clean as well as the other areas of the hotel. I wnjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again.

Hotel was very clean and is centrally located, close to the beach, and ample dining and shopping locations. No car needed, everything you need is walkable or a short Uber hop away.

The room is small, the curtains are made of paper, you need to use a clip to open the curtains, and you can't open them completely. There are steps at the entrance of the hotel, and you need to carry your luggage up, which is not very convenient. The service attitude is OK. Really disappointed with this hotel. Be careful with your credit cards, they make unjustified bank charges. They charged me parking fees even though I don't have a car and they were really rude and unconcerned about my complaint. They even hung up on me when I called them on the phone.

They gave me a handicap room when I showered all the water went out, but they fix it for me and they give me different room immediately but I wasn’t happy because I didn’t tell me it’s a handicap room they’re supposed to let me know it’s a handicap and I will confirm I could have it or not.

Restaurant adjacent had pleasant hostess but breakfast server rude, food cold, service terrible and was told two times that there were no free refills on coffee. Room was quiet cozy and comfortable. Bathroom a bit stuffy due to minimal ventilation and shower water could does not reach hot temperature. A microwave in the room will suit patrons who utilize lounge there and would like to bring leftovers.
