The gentleman at the bar was amazing. Great conversation the food. Was great I got your hot wings and sweet potato fries. Front desk, staff overnight and day staff was amazing. Very kind.

It’s a good hotel to stay and the staff was very helpful. I was surprised that the manager of the hotel when I needed somebody to pick my bag he went and picked them himself so I thank him for that and that’s how managers should be always.

Free Wi-Fi was nearly impossible to access. $60 parking fee near criminal. Room was fine. Check in and out seamless.

The waiter in the restaurant on the first floor was very chatty and recommended us to eat crispy stake. We didn't rush out at night. January is the coldest time to go there, and the city is like snow.

I was recently in town for a 4 day conference. The team at Marriott were all very friendly and helpful. Visited this location for a business conference. The location is walkable to many restaurants and The Arch. The restaurant in the hotel serves great food and has nice servers. Nice staff just not accommodating on any requests that we had beforehand. Very busy area and not the easiest to get to. The event nearby was also able to use the parking garage so it was busy and hard for us to get into. The hot tub wasn’t working. The pool was cold and cloudy. Had asked for an earlier check in and that wasn’t available and requested a joining room due to children. None available....

Great customer service at check in. This staff knows how to communicate and treat a guest. Clear explanations on the amenities, etc. Great breakfast, and the 3:00 pm fresh popcorn is great. 5:30 to 7:00 they provide complimentary beer and wine, as well as a few snacks, such as chips. Check in was great, they gave us free parking. Because their hot tub was closed (permanently). 4th level parking, elevators were right there, up 1 level to our room, that was right by the pool and breakfast. I loved this place. It's like a hotel stuck in time, but in the best way possible. Rooms were clean and comfy, but the room arrangement, atrium, and pool area are just something you have to see to believe. A back "patio" with iron chairs and a table where everyone can people watch. I booked this hotel because it was one of the only hotels in Downtown STL that had a hot tub and that was actually affordable. I stayed here to visit my husband. My husband didn't really like it; his coworkers had to go to the front desk to talk to the staff because the housekeeper would just give them towels but wouldn't empty trash or make the beds so trash was building up. Location was great for freeway access and proximity to the Cherokee St district. Price was good for the quality. Rooms were spacious with a pullout bed in addition to two double beds. Linens/towels/etc were good for the price. Breakfast was mediocre and not complimentary.
