The gentleman at the bar was amazing. Great conversation the food. Was great I got your hot wings and sweet potato fries. Front desk, staff overnight and day staff was amazing. Very kind.

It’s a good hotel to stay and the staff was very helpful. I was surprised that the manager of the hotel when I needed somebody to pick my bag he went and picked them himself so I thank him for that and that’s how managers should be always.

Free Wi-Fi was nearly impossible to access. $60 parking fee near criminal. Room was fine. Check in and out seamless.

The waiter in the restaurant on the first floor was very chatty and recommended us to eat crispy stake. We didn't rush out at night. January is the coldest time to go there, and the city is like snow.

I was recently in town for a 4 day conference. The team at Marriott were all very friendly and helpful. Visited this location for a business conference. The location is walkable to many restaurants and The Arch. The restaurant in the hotel serves great food and has nice servers. Nice staff just not accommodating on any requests that we had beforehand. Very busy area and not the easiest to get to. The event nearby was also able to use the parking garage so it was busy and hard for us to get into. The hot tub wasn’t working. The pool was cold and cloudy. Had asked for an earlier check in and that wasn’t available and requested a joining room due to children. None available....

Great customer service at check in. This staff knows how to communicate and treat a guest. Clear explanations on the amenities, etc. Great breakfast, and the 3:00 pm fresh popcorn is great. 5:30 to 7:00 they provide complimentary beer and wine, as well as a few snacks, such as chips. They have a soda fountain which is available all day long. So wonderful for when I needed a quick sip of bubbly...

Check in was great, they gave us free parking. Because their hot tub was closed (permanently). 4th level parking, elevators were right there, up 1 level to our room, that was right by the pool and breakfast. I loved this place. It's like a hotel stuck in time, but in the best way possible. Rooms were clean and comfy, but the room arrangement, atrium, and pool area are just something you have to see to believe. A back "patio" with iron chairs and a table where everyone can people watch. I booked this hotel because it was one of the only hotels in Downtown STL that had a hot tub and that was actually affordable. This hotel was everything I have come to expect. Newly renovated rooms, new bedding, flat screen tvs, friendly staff. The hotel was very clean, including our room. I would highly recommend redroof.

Good Breakfast. Extra $3.50 charge at check-in. Nice room. Very roomy & clean. Floors in lobby needed cleaned because of snow & salt. They would have had plenty of time at night to clean. It looked like an accumulation of many days. Overall good stay.

Needs some updating, breakfast was very limited, locks on room door needed work. Bed was comfortable, room was a good size.

Dead plants everywhere. Hallway bathrooms dirty and unstocked or broken. Ceiling tiles stained from leaks. Breakfast was awful. Rooms were ok. Clean for the most part but beds are low and uncomfortable. Staff was friendly but not every present. Not sure why cost was so high second night.

We stayed in room 104 the water pressure was very weak and there was very little hot water. This made taking a shower uncomfortable.

The hot tub was an awkward shape but it was a fun addition to the room. We liked where we parked cause we could see our vehicle from one of the 4 windows we had in our room (we loved the space and natural light). I stayed here many years ago. It needed a little update at that point. Staff was great with early check in. Trying to remember if I took the train in. For the price, the hotel needs a lot of clean up. Wallpaper was peeling in every room, furniture is old and not in good shape. Needs a coffee pot in the room. Carpets throughout are stained. No bedding for the sofa sleeper. The restaurant was not open during our stay. We had to ask for extra toilet tissue at the front desk. However, the location is great. The location is incredible, especially if you plan to visit St. Louis without a car. I used the light rail and bus to get absolutely everywhere, since there's a light rail station and a major bus depot literally across the street. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, and I had a very nice view looking south towards the Anheuser-Busch Brewery (which I visited). The staff was extremely friendly...

Rooms are nice and big and the beds are very comfortable. You have to pay $25/night for parking. The shower curtain does not hold water in! Staff very pleasant.
