Aire Hotel North Beach in Seaside Heights

Disgusting room that was not filthy to the point that there were beer bottles and cups under the bathroom sink along with dust, dirty socks, and tissues under the bed, and a floor so dirty my 1yr old daughter's socks were black within minutes. These aren't exaggerations. Along with that the door jamb for the entrance was busted and the super had to come climb in through the window and drill out the door handle twice because we were locked out of the unit and the second time I locked myself out while my wife and child were trapped inside.

Awful place to stay! Never again. Took 4 key cards until one finally worked in the door. Room was filthy, floor was sticky, ceiling stuff falling down, walls ripped, holes, phone cord in the middle of the room but no phone, smoke detector sitting on the shelf without a battery in it( not hung on the wall), stuff splattered on the walls, cigarette burn in comforter ( in a non smoking place) along with stains and yuck on them, radiator in bathroom rusted to pieces, online said discounted beach passes well the guy at front desk said not this year, pool area dirty, loud people yelling and running in the halls and slamming doors all night, smelled of pot throughout the 3rd floor, all the stair cases and hallways were so dirty even with cobwebs. No wash clothes, none! It was the worse place I ever stayed, ever!

This is the worst place I have ever seen. Hallways are filthy. The rooms look nothing like the pictures on the web and I would rather jump in the sewer than in the pool, there is no poolside bar, irons or ironing boards or even breakfast as advertised and they definitely do not give you daily housekeeping! Everything in this place is broken upon check in we find that our room was filthy and the shower curtain and rod were on the floor, there was blood smudged all over the curtains and bathroom walls! To top it off I find a syringe in the bathroom and when I go to the front desk to complain, the manager Jack's answer was " what do you want me to do about it just throw it away". This place is a complete dump I wish I could post the pictures of my findings. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR FAMILY OR EVEN YOURSELVES TO THIS NASTY DISGUSTING PLACE !

If I could give less stars I would! This place was absolutely disgusting! The woman working the office was not lucid. We go to the room and there were huge stains all over the bed and the closet door was laying down in the closet. Another employee comes off of the room as we’re trying to open the door and he states “Oh wow there’s 4 of y’all..” and walks away. I felt like I was staying in an unclean version of Bates Motel. Needless to say we left and asked for a refund as it wasn’t worth the $80 it cost. If they paid me to stay I might have thought about it. Only stay here is you are cool with bed bugs or you simply are looking to get murdered by a gang of drug addicts.

DO NOT STAY HERE NO MATTER WHAT
This is where our nightmare began. After getting into the room it only took a couple of seconds to realize that the room was disgustingly filthy and that everything was broken not to mention the room was very hot with no air conditioning and wicked smell. Because we did not get into the room so late we decided to deal with it later as our younger kids were excited to get to the boardwalk. Upon arriving back at the hotel we find that the front lobby is locked with a note on the door that he is attending to other guests. Well I waited all night and no one ever returned to the office. So the hotel had no employees on location all night. No one at the desk. No security. No maintance. Nobody!
Here is a list of the deplorable conditions of this awful place you call a hotel:
1-There was hair on the pillows from the people before us
2-There was hair all over the bathroom from the people before us’
3-There were stains on the pillows and sheets
4-The wall A/C (NOT WORKING) had the front hanging off of it with all kinds of sharp edges on it
5-The window unit that was put in to replace the broken wall unit was hanging out the window over the pool with no brackets on it as required by law-I was scared to touch it
6-The lock on the door was all broken with the battery hanging out-What kind of security is that?
7-We had to exit and enter through a side door as the door in the office was locked or not working
8-My daughter found bugs on her pillow. How can you sleep after that?
9-The shower is cracking and peeling-you cannot even step into it
10-There are absolutely no place to put anything in the rooms. The pictures show tables and furniture yet when we arrived there was nothing like that. No tables in the room at all
11-There was no lock on the door to enter the building
12-The carpets in the hallway were full of food dirt and bugs-never vacuumed ever
13-There was no towels in the room and no toilet paper and no one to get it for you because the hotel was unmanned the entire night and morning
14-the entire neighborhood was using the pool at the hotel-the people from the surrounding houses were using the hotel pool and being very loud.
15-the hotel advertises that they have a free breakfast-there was no breakfast and the lobby was locked the entire time
I could go on and on this place is nothing but a condemned building that was turned into a hotel
To sum it up our experience at your hotel was a disgrace. He had to leave your hotel and get a room at a neighboring hotel. A hotel that supplied towels so we were able to clean our self and take showers.
I do a lot of traveling for my job and I will never stay at a Wyndham hotel again and I am going to tell all of my travel associates as well. This hotel is a complete hell hole and should not even be called a hotel. I am calling the Better Business Bureau as well as the Board of Health and the Fire Marshall as none of the fire escapes work.

The room was extremly cheap, close to the beach and water park which is what we were there for.
However you get what you paid for, which when spending money on accommodations is generally not really the way to go.
We were here for three days, the room had a distinct but undetectable scent and was only serviced on the last day as we were leaving.
Breakfast was included but we did not see where this breakfast could be and did bother to ask about it.
Not a fan.
