Pyramid Resort Motel in Wildwood Crest

I was in town starting with a friend this past summer and we wanted to go the "cheaper" route and ended up at Pyramid Resort. And we were glad for it since it was top notch and high quality!! Things were great and the service was amazing. Our room was a good size for the price and it was super clean and modern. And not just our room, the whole place was clean and nice! It was clearly well taken care of! We were there at the start of September and even though it was nearing the end of the season it was so perfect! I can't wait to go back again!

I took my kids here and Pyramid exceded expectations. You can walk to the beach. What more matters? But there is also a nice little pool, outside seating to eat and a grill, full size fridges, a sink, burner, Kurig coffee maker, dishes and cutlery, plenty of towels. No horrible rug. What is worse then a rug in a beach motel? There are nice tile floors in the rooms that are easily swept. Outdoor bathroom and shower. Oh also a table and chairs and full size flat screen with free cable. Will definitely be back. And washer and dryer almost forgot.

I give this place a 4 star because the room was clean when we got there but after running around in my barefooted I notice the bottom of my feet where black not just dirty but black. I went to the store and bought a Swiffer and clean the for myself everyday and the parking is extremely tight but otherwise everything was great love the pool love the staff and love the room will come here again but I definitely will bring a Swiffer with me

Incredibly nice family that is running this motel. It is VERY clean and nicely maintained. I booked our room last minute and was still able to secure a great rate even during a busy holiday weekend. The pool is clean and has comfortable lounge chairs. Lots of outdoor patio furniture both in and out of the sun. They have a washer and dryer on site. Everything looks new and is in great shape. We are right near the beach. Off street parking is convenient. We were able to park right next to our room for easy unpacking and packing. I would recommend!

The pool was incredible! The water slide was so fun! The place was so close to the beach. Very family friendly and quiet.

The room wasn’t anything fancy, but it had everything that we needed. A full sized fridge, a little stove, microwave, storage for food. Perfect, so we didn’t have to eat out for every meal.

The owners were on site and so friendly. The asked if we needed anything every time they saw us. Their kids made friends with our kids. It was incredibly welcoming.

We’ve come here twice now and we will definitely be returning.

Owners are very nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean and the location is GREAT. A little pricey for the size of the room… but overall we would certainly come back!! P.S. bring your own hairdryer.

The other reviews are accurate: this hotel provides a 5 star experience because the owners live on site and pay attention to every detail. Very family friendly and quiet after 11 pm. Very clean, close to the beach, plenty of towels, large fridge and freezer. I had to laugh about the parking lot comment because it is true: you have to be size 0 to get out of your car after parking! Well done Tom and Michelle!

PS: Remember to bring your own blankets or bedspreads while covid rules in effect

This is a fantastic NJ beach hotel. No, it is not the Plaza Hotel in NYC, but the Plaza doesn't have a beach like this!!! The Pyramid is clean and well maintained. The rooms are very nice with everything you need, microwave, fridge, towels, TV, etc. The TV programming is great!!! The pool and facilities are clean, everything works and all well maintained. The location is fabulous, steps from a beautiful beach and close to restaurants and boardwalk. I just can't think of anything that wasn't pleasant and enjoyable. However, the nicest part of the Pyramid experience is the owners, Tommy and Michelle are truly wonderful people. In addition to running a great hotel, they make a sincere effort to make each guest feel welcome and feel like family. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on my Wildwood vacations. You can't go wrong staying at the Pyramid.
