Ala Kai Motel in Wildwood Crest

Always loved this place for about 15-20 years now. It's cheap , very simple, right on the beach. Great for families.

The Ala Kai is a very nice hotel we come here during the summer. It has a pool nice rooms and a balcony. Also the lady st the front desk is nice. And my favorite thing is that every morning when the room service comes in if tip or be nice to them they will make you cute thing out of towels like a elephant, a dog, a flower, 2 swans making a heart, a whale, and other cool stuff.this hotel if very nice :)

Love this place! Made the mistake of booking another motel but ended up back here because My boyfriend and I refused to stay at the dirty one we walked into! I called the Ala Kai hoping for a miracle; an open room for 5 nights during the second week of August...thank goodness there was a cancellation! The owners were so unbelievably kind and accommodating and wanted us to have a great experience because of what we had to deal with before coming to them. They had 5 nights but we were going to have to move rooms for the 5th night to a more expensive room...they weren't even going to charge us more for it. ? In the end we ended up staying in the same room for 5 nights straight. Overall, a wonderful experience and lucky is what we were! We stayed at the Ala Kai last year and should have booked again! No doubt we will be back! Great motel! 5 stars.

Building and vibe is circa 1950's consistent with the whole area of Wildwood. The service was great and the staff could not have been any more accommodating. It was clean and well taken care of. The bathrooms were not up to date but it is a beach hotel after all. The 4 stars represents the price point as well. Don't confuse this with a modern resort in say Las Vegas. But for the price and the location it was perfect.

My family and I (multi-generation) have been going to AlaKai for years. It is family-friendly, quiet and a step from the beach. Every time we go there it seems they have made more improvements and found ways to make our stay even better. Highly recommend!

I've reviewed this place a few times and most recently my wife and I have been going to Wildwood for 9 years. The past several years we've stayed here at the Ala Kai. Just arrived home today from there. All the Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel grounds and rooms are very clean and well maintained. Beds are comfy, water pressure is good and rooms are spacious. Housekeeping does a great job creating different animal designs using the towels. The hotel is very close to the beach. It's far enough from the busy Wildwood scene but close enough to drive to. One of the cleanest hotels by far. If you're looking for a well maintained clean family oriented hotel this is definitely the place. You won't be disappointed!

Loved staying here! Came down for the jeep invasion! The lady at the front desk was so nice and got us our hotel keys and stuff fast! Will be coming back here soon!
