Ala Kai Motel in Wildwood Crest

We visited for a couple nights. The price was good. The 2 rooms we rented had a kitchenette, with a full size fridge, gas stove , microwave, and dishes available. That came handy, as the restaurants locally are overpriced. It does have a window air conditioner, but no heat, which could be a problem at the end of the season. Fortunately for us, it was not that cold. It is walking distance to the beach.

This was our first time at the Blue Marlin. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The owners were genuinely friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the two rooms on the second floor with the private deck. The rooms were CLEAN ( I’m very picky about the cleanliness of a place), comfortable, and decorated tastefully. The deck area was spacious and had tables with umbrellas and chairs. It was one of my favorite parts about the place. The pool area was very clean, spacious, and enjoyable. They have music playing to add to the fun. The beach is a short walk away and was a very nice, clean section of beach. If you are looking for a nice, clean, quiet place to stay, you will be pleasantly surprised at this unassuming gem.

We had a fantastic time at The Blue Marlin ! It was The 4th of July and we were invited to FREE a barbecue Hosted By Linda and Joe ! The Rooms were very clean and tidy . If you forgot anything ,the staff was quick to loan it to you ! And just steps to the beach ! Everyone including the guests were so friendly ! The only real problem were THE BEDS ! The beds were like sleeping on a rock or a piece of plywood. Make sure that you have plenty to drink so that you can pass out on the beds, but beware when you wake and your back and neck are in pain ! You may want to bring some extra pillows as well. Honestly,The Blue Marlin Hotel was great , affordable and clean except for the beds . They need to invest in some new beds . The Beds are the ONLY reason that we will not return. I hope that they do, so that we can come back !

Our first getaway in 3 years. We love staying in the crest and thought we would try a new place. The staff were wonder. The place is super clean. The only down fall was no outlet to blow dry your hair in the bathroom. Very close to the beach. I would highly recommend this place to stay at!!

This is fourth time I've stayed here and plan to go again and again love this place reasonable clean quiet and staff is very accommodating in every way

I liked the proximity to the beach which was just down the street with easy walking distance. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of drawer space. I didn't use the pool but it looked very clean.

Everything is awesome about this place. Great service, cleanliness, location, friendliness of the staff, the amenities, even the new area underneath across the street for people to gather and hangout after a long day on the beach. I’ve been going to Ala Kai every summer for 10 years and can’t wait to get back.
