Stayed here for several days with our two dogs and it was a wonderful experience! Staff was so nice and helpful. It is close to everything including the dog beach. Will definitely be staying her again

Would not stay here again. Room old and outdated, wires hanging from ceiling were smoke detector should be but it was sitting on shelf with no batteries.My feet turned black walking across the floor. Very poor window coverings old and broken. Only good thing is the location. After booking on line charged another $20 per night for my dog nothing listed stating extra charge.

We visited the area for a running race in Avalon. Because it was a last minute decision we had to bring our dog and found this motel. Location is fantastic. Its feet from the start of the boardwalk which was quieter and calmer than in the area closest to the amusements and rides. Being our first time in Wildwood we laughed at the distance from the boardwalk to the beach. Be prepared to walk!
Our stay was in a standard room with 2 full size beds. The room was small which was ok for us and clean with just a slight off odor. We were prepared and brought deodorizing spray. Overall we saw so much potential in this place and hope the owners will consider a more modern makeover.
As for the staff they were friendly and helpful. We thank them for their hospitality.
So if you are looking for a rental that takes pets, is close to the boardwalk and are ok with a no frill room we would recommend considering the Rus Mar.

The front desk personnel was really cool. The motel was not what I expected. There were dirt left over from the previous renters on the floor and shower. The sink in the bathroom kept getting clogged. Beds were really hard to sleep on but the location of the motel was awesome. Again, nothing again the front desk personnel just need to have the place cleaned.

stayed here for one night for my birthday. prices were exponentially higher due to a music festival in town for the weekend, which is understandable however they allowed dogs which is why we stayed. the entire stay there was no hot water. nothing was done about it either. we were laughed at when asked for any form of compensation...i'll stay elsewhere
