Sun N Fun Motel in Ocean City

Sun n fun … n mice …n a gaslighting front desk attendant telling you it isn’t mice. Honestly if the rooms were cleaner this would have been a great stay but for nearly $200 a night it’s not acceptable. Only stayed for one night as only 15 hours after check in, there were mouse droppings all over the floors, dressers and BEDS. Went to the front desk to show the below photos and was told “I don’t think that’s mice, we’ve never had a complaint or problem” couldn’t get a refund for the night we stayed but was able to get a refund for the remaining nights. Hate to put down a small business in an area that relies on tourist for survivability but future vacationers should beware.

We went down for a long weekend as a family and as it was airshow weekend this was one of the only affordable hotels around. The first room we checked into wasn't bad, until we unpacked went to dinner a d returned to our room to be greater by the entire outside area of our room smelling like ****. When we entered our room our room smelled horrible so we could tell it was the room next to us smoking in their room, there are no smoking signs everywhere and listed on the site. We went to the front desk to tell them and the gentleman on duty came in to smell the room and went to call his manager, we were told there was nothing they could do because **** was legal in MD which we found out it is not legal til July 1st but still the hotel has a no smoking policy so they still should have been the ones to have been told to stop instead we had to repack all of our stuff and move rooms from the first floor room we asked for to a second floor room. We asked for a first floor room due to my disability so this was a major inconvenience for us. When we got to the new room we found pieces of trash in the new room bandaid hair ties wrappers to items from previous guest it overall just didn't seem clean. Then we found ants crawling on the table multiple times. The bedding was white and there was small stains on it we had brought our own blankets thankfully. The first women who checked us in was helpful but after that the people in the front office where not. I would not stay here again. It is not clean, they are unhelpful and don't even follow there own rules.

the stay itself was wonderful. stayed a whole week and had no issues with the room itself. only reason for the one star was be careful if you pay with cash upon check in. when i checked in i was told it would be $792 plus change after our deposit so i paid the man 793. when i checked out a week later i got my receipt and it said i only gave the man $702 in cash and i called the people who owned the property (not their fault) and they said the books match up so there wasn’t anything they could really do.. so just be careful if you pay cash.
