The only complaint I have is that the room (bathroom) reeked of a foul smell upon our arrival. We cleansed, wiped, sprayed, and sanitized as we do at every hotel. The smell went away, but did return later.

This is a nice hotel and located close to a lot of downtown restaurants. There is also a restaurant in the hotel. Friendly staff, very clean hotel overall. Stayed for a night while visiting from out of town. Hotel was really easy to find and walking distance to restraunts, bars, shopping and both trains. Roof top pool and hot tub offer a chance to relax amongst the skyscrapers of uptown Charlotte. Rooms were decent sized, beds are super comfortable and check in process was a breeze.

The staff were excellent, the decor was very nice, and the beds were comfy. The room let in a bit too much noise. We stayed two nights and both nights I awoke to voices between 3 and 4 AM, that I think were coming from outside, but might have been from down the hall. I also did not enjoy being nickel-and-dimed on little things that are often complementary at nicer hotels. Bottles of water were $7....

Good sized room, very clean throughout the hotel. Blackout drapes on the windows keep it nice and dark during daylight hours. Incredibly polite and helpful staff all around. Downside is that the windows do not filter much if any street noise. Even 9 floors up there was LOUD bar music playing till 2am every night.

First day was fantastic. The amenities, the location, the cleanliness, the helpful staff… From check in to check out, this was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Everyone was very nice. Customer service was awesome and they made sure that you felt right at home! We went for the Seattle Seahawks versus the Carolina Panthers game and it was within walking distance of Bank of America Stadium, which was super nice and the Seahawks pulled out a win. Go Hawks!!

We didn’t realize breakfast was included, but we enjoyed breakfast downstairs this morning and also visited two breakfast spots on Friday and Saturday. The room was very clean, and the body wash and lotion were so nice that I even looked them up to buy them. The staff were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and full of great local recommendations.

everything was great... the entire facility was nice and clean, the gym fantastic. My only complaint was the $11 tap beer in the restaurant, and it was a wasn't even a Heineken!

During our stay we had fire alarm gone off four time at odd hours. One of my family member is wheel chair bound and we had informed this to the hotel, despite knowing this none of the staff ever called to offer help during evacuation calls. The hotel does not have any provision or SOP to evacuate the guest. So far so the reception team members were the first people to run away from their desk instead...

The hotel was beautiful. The bathroom door was awful. A barn door for the bathroom doesn’t give any privacy.

Hotel smells great, is clean, cool and inviting. Beds in handicapped accessible room were comfortable but very low. Barn door in doorway of bathroom doesn't open wide enough to allow access for a motorized wheelchair.

Very convenient for one night layover between flights. Shuttle worked very well. Quick Uber ride to South End for breweries etc and not far to downtown. Comfortable room, good shower. Towels too small.

Hilton Doubletree is my most favorite hotel I have stayed so many times for the past years , but breakfast at this Doubletree is the worst , food quality was so bad 🙁

The hotel was good as for transit. They have free transfer to airport.

Found a dead cockroach in the room, in plain sight, told the staff and got no response. Hotel needs updating, Doubletree has always been a great brand, but we were disappointed with our stay.

Beds were GREAT! Bring a noise machine if a lite sleeper like me. The airport runway is not far away. The breakfast buffet was very good, chef can make you omelet of waffle in the kitchen. Servers great too. Corporate needs to review outside courtyard/pool area. Pool out of order, patio area could use a cleaning, smoking area smelled, of course, used cigar awaiting owners return. This place lives up to the hype. I’ve rarely stayed someplace as clean, with friendly staff and excellent overall operations. The rooftop bar and lounge is a great bonus complete with fire pits and terrific comfortable spaces to unwind.

The room was spotless and clean. Room had good AC. Upstairs on 9th floor is a club with Food and drinks, nice, good staff, nice bar. We took our dogs. The hotel is pet friendly and on the second floor is where doggie families are you have your own exit thru double doors to your vehicle to go back and forth. Great place, great set up. Very comfortable stay… The hotel is very nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet was beautiful and delicious. The only negative during the stay was a loose toilet seat, which provided some ‘surprises’ at night. When reported on checkout, the information was welcomed, and my impression was that it would be addressed.

Stayed here for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained with fresh drinks, robes and bathroom supplies. The handheld showerhead would leak when using the main head and the toilet would continually flow water after every use unless you manually removed the cover and fixed it.

It was very convenient to great restaurants and spots to looks around in Southpark. The airport was only about 20 min away, too.

Very nice hotel in a great location. I'm giving two stars because even by hotel standards their Wi-Fi was abysmal. Just plan on using your phone as a hotspot the entire time. Also was asked to pre-pay for the restaurant meal which was a bit of a surprise.

The chaise in the room is uncomfortable. I recently stayed at a Marriott in Jupiter FL with same furniture.

Very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly, the only downside was the parking. You can valet for $10 or $15. There is no immediate parking but you have access to a parking garage that you will have to walk a short distance to and from.

Very good, quiet room, safe surroundings

It was a new hotel, so it was clean and the design was great. It was a little inconvenient because there was a separate parking lot, but other than that, the facility had a good atmosphere.

I wish they had complementary cookies or drinks. Also we had more than 5 people so I need to use the pull out bed in the couch and there was no sheets and blanket in the closet or anywhere in that matter so I had to run to the last floor and get some. But it was nice though.

For the age of the building, the Room was clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Front staff were friendly and welcoming. The area is a bit sketchy, and it can be very noisy from the outside due to the door seals.

This has, by and far, been the cleanest, friendliest, best run Motel 6 that I have stayed at. My room was made every day and I was given fresh towels daily (which does not happen at other Motel 6's I've stayed at), the staff was always friendly and acted like they wanted to be there. Overall very nice motel for this price point. Two negatives are the location and one of the workers named Z. Z, was very rude. Not only to me but to most of the guest. The location has very little food choices around. Also, a walk to the gas station is like walking thru a minefield. I was offered to buy every type of drugs every time I would walk out of my room. Once inside everything was great.
