The only complaint I have is that the room (bathroom) reeked of a foul smell upon our arrival. We cleansed, wiped, sprayed, and sanitized as we do at every hotel. The smell went away, but did return later.

Friendly staff, very clean hotel overall. Stayed for a night while visiting from out of town. Hotel was really easy to find and walking distance to restraunts, bars, shopping and both trains. Roof top pool and hot tub offer a chance to relax amongst the skyscrapers of uptown Charlotte. Rooms were decent sized, beds are super comfortable and check in process was a breeze.

The staff were excellent, the decor was very nice, and the beds were comfy. The room let in a bit too much noise. We stayed two nights and both nights I awoke to voices between 3 and 4 AM, that I think were coming from outside, but might have been from down the hall. Good sized room, very clean throughout the hotel. Blackout drapes on the windows keep it nice and dark during daylight hours. Incredibly polite and helpful staff all around. Downside is that the windows do not filter much if any street noise. Even 9 floors up there was LOUD bar music playing till 2am every night.

First day was fantastic. The amenities, the location, the cleanliness, the helpful staff… From check in to check out, this was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Everyone was very nice. Customer service was awesome and they made sure that you felt right at home! We went for the Seattle Seahawks versus the Carolina Panthers game and it was within walking distance of Bank of America Stadium, which was super nice and the Seahawks pulled out a win. Go Hawks!!

We didn’t realize breakfast was included, but we enjoyed breakfast downstairs this morning and also visited two breakfast spots on Friday and Saturday. During our stay we had fire alarm gone off four time at odd hours. One of my family member is wheel chair bound and we had informed this to the hotel, despite knowing this none of the staff ever called to offer help during evacuation calls. The hotel does not have any provision or SOP to evacuate the guest. So far so the reception team members were the first people to run away from their desk instead...

The hotel was beautiful. The bathroom door was awful. A barn door for the bathroom doesn’t give any privacy.

Hotel smells great, is clean, cool and inviting. Beds in handicapped accessible room were comfortable but very low. Barn door in doorway of bathroom doesn't open wide enough to allow access for a motorized wheelchair.

Hilton Doubletree is my most favorite hotel I have stayed so many times for the past years , but breakfast at this Doubletree is the worst , food quality was so bad 🙁

Found a dead cockroach in the room, in plain sight, told the staff and got no response. Hotel needs updating, Doubletree has always been a great brand, but we were disappointed with our stay.

Was there 4or 5 days before someone decided to clean my rm I asked 3x and I was told it was not my day

This place lives up to the hype. I’ve rarely stayed someplace as clean, with friendly staff and excellent overall operations. The rooftop bar and lounge is a great bonus complete with fire pits and terrific comfortable spaces to unwind.

Very comfortable stay… The hotel is very nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet was beautiful and delicious. The only negative during the stay was a loose toilet seat, which provided some ‘surprises’ at night. When reported on checkout, the information was welcomed, and my impression was that it would be addressed.

Stayed here for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained with fresh drinks, robes and bathroom supplies. The handheld showerhead would leak when using the main head and the toilet would continually flow water after every use unless you manually removed the cover and fixed it.

It was very convenient to great restaurants and spots to looks around in Southpark. The airport was only about 20 min away, too.

Very nice hotel in a great location. I'm giving two stars because even by hotel standards their Wi-Fi was abysmal. Just plan on using your phone as a hotspot the entire time. Also was asked to pre-pay for the restaurant meal which was a bit of a surprise.

It was a new hotel, so it was clean and the design was great. It was a little inconvenient because there was a separate parking lot, but other than that, the facility had a good atmosphere.

The bathroom art had water stains on the glass, everything else was satisfactory. East access to downtown, valet parking of car which was not cheap but able to use car in & out. Comfortable beds, pillows and toiletries.

The hotel was ok . The valet parking was terrible. Being that I’m retired veteran I had to bang on the door for the valet person to wake and retrieve my car. I will definitely not recommend this hotel for any of my veterans friend. I never had my vehicle damaged ever in all the locations/ states I’m travel too.

12/30/2025 shuttle pick-up 8:30pm, driver was rude to my husband and made it seem like we didn’t belong on this shuttle or couldn’t afford a stay at a Hilton Hotel. Very disappointed!! But overall our stay was nice, staff at the hotel were nice, helpful and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Stayed here for a 16hr layover.

Very nice hotel. The staff is super friendly. Tucked a little off a maon road which is nice because it keeps the traffic noise down while you're trying to sleep. Very convenient location close to the airport and close to the park and ride places. I was at the Parking Spot less than 5 minutes after leaving the hotel.

This was an unexpected stop, due to last minute flight cancellations. I can't recommend it enough. The rooms were beautiful, quiet, beds were very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure! Every person at the counter was very friendly and helpful as well.

Staff was extremely efficient, courteous and friendly especially shuttle drivers and counter staff. Although check-in lasted barely 2 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised when the clerk remembered my name some two hours later.

Sold with shuttle service and breakfast. Despite being a Hilton Honors member no breakfast. No shuttle available for either arrival or departure. Room was clean. Shower door didn’t stay closed. Really odd layout (they put me in some meeting area).

The room was so nice with the couch and little tables. The bathroom so nice. Breakfast was good and the fitness facility was exceptional. The only frustration was that we were told someone spoke of the street acoustics on the road in front of the hotel, so all through the night there were cars and motorcycles revving past. That has to be corrected.

We stayed here on our first night in the US. The staff are very friendly and helpful. That makes such difference to a stay. Up early and into the empty pool for a few quick lengths before breakfast. A good choice, well served at a reasonable price.

The Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte is a good hotel for what it is. Charlotte is not a very fancy town and their Ritz-Carlton is certainly one of the most luxurious hotels in the city. Having said that, it probably shouldn’t be called a Ritz-Carlton because it does not hold a candle to many other Ritz-Carltons around the country. The hotel feels more like an upscale Marriott than a true Ritz-Carlton property...

Very nice comfortable room. Great price. We work outside during the day and need a good shower in the evening. There was no hot water on Friday or Sunday night. We asked for clean towels Sunday and they did give them to us, but were told that their policy is to give clean towels only after one stays three nights.
