This is a beautiful property with a friendly informative staff, luxurious bedding and amenities. It is centrally located in downtown Charlotte, about 15 minutes or less from the airport.

The staff were polite but very personable. They made us feel comfortable and would definitely come back. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hilton Garden in downtown Charlotte has been pleasantly updated. Onsite parking is plentiful here with a parking deck that adjoins the Hampton and an apartment building making it easy to come and go. The room is nice and the facilities are suitable. There is a bar for dinner and fresh beer is available. You can also buy it from outside in the shed outside the restaurant on the first floor. It's very close to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and the school has a jogging track. The hotel facilities are also very new and clean. I always think Holiday Inn is excellent in the same price range.

The room smells. Not sure because of what. There are chairs in front of main entrance, but guests are there smoking, there is no sign for "No Smoking within x feet of the entrance" The $15 breakfast is not worth the money.

My family and I stayed at this location twice about 4 weeks apart between stays. The rooms are very clean! When I saw housekeeping scrubbing the couches in the lobby I knew cleanliness was definitely a standard for this hotel! Motel 6 is a great place for dog owners. The price you pay is a fraction of other places. Don't expect 5 star accommodations from a place that charges you and your pets under $80.00 to stay a night.
