Great staff, clean rooms and the hotel was central to every thing we did in Uptown Charlotte. Great stay and accommodations!

One of the towels had makeup stains on it when I got there which wasn’t a great feeling, but otherwise clean and adequate! The restaurant in the hotel had some challenges with the kitchen with food sent out uncooked but the wait staff was great

This hotel was a very convenient location and provided excellent staff service. One of the best features was an easily accessed overnight menu and food selection that provided comfort for busy schedules and late travel

Restaurants in hotel also have amazing food and the hospitality is top notch. We went to a panthers game and otherwise just wanted to stay on property. Can’t wait to go back when have more time to enjoy property

My wife is very picky about hotels and this is going to be our go-to anytime in area again. Spotless room very spacious and such a comfortable bed. We wanted to extend our stay but had to get home

This place just opened, but it's firing on all cylinders. The food in the Italian restaurant was pretty good. The deserts were pretty good too. The service was excellent.

It is in a great location within walking distance to the Charlotte Hornets stadium if you don't mind a little hike and lots of restaurants to try. Staff was exceptional and always willing to help

(Waffle flavour changes, eggs are different style and then the protein changes daily) Only problem we had was the hot water in the shower wasnt hot enough. But that was honestly our only complaint

Room was super clean and quiet. Only a 5 minute or so drive to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Breakfast had different variety every morning

I would definitely recommend Double Tree Hotel anytime. The customer service is always great and the atmosphere is amazing. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Oh yeah, keep the cookies coming lol

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and close to everything. The staff was amazing- JJ, Luke, and the other front desk staff went over and above when we arrived to find their pool closed (and had 2 very disappointed kids)

There's no pool closed 3 years ago, rooftop is only for parties reserved. Parking garage is not connected and staff has a real issue with you trying to load and unload the car in the loading area

Location is great for walking and discovering great restaurants and shopping in the area.

The room was nice but wasn't cleaned thoroughly, crumbs were in floor and bed linen was spiked on the corners and pillowcases. I had to call front desk requesting a new room, which they were supposedly full

everything was great... the entire facility was nice and clean, the gym fantastic. My only complaint was the $11 tap beer in the restaurant, and it was a wasn't even a Heineken!

Highly recommend the property. It is right on campus. And walking distance to a grocery store and many restaurants. And it is right at the train station if you need to take public transportation.

The staff and the receptionist was just very friendly. Overall. Just really enjoyed this stay, will love to stay there again if I'm in Charlotte.

The ballroom for the stitch retreat was well lit there was plenty of room for all the tables. Staff was very friendly. THe outdoor patio where we sat some of the time was very clean and comfortable.

Also was asked to pre-pay for the restaurant meal which was a bit of a surprise

I like the concierge room, pool, and lovely service with the staff. Anything I needed they greeted me with a smile and top tier customer service. Lovely location and establishment.

The exterior appearance of this Marriott property does not do the interior justice! The rooms were recently renovated in conformance with Marriott's new direction in terms of style and things turned out very well

We stayed here on our first night in the US. The staff are very friendly and helpful. That makes such difference to a stay. Up early and into the empty pool for a few quick lengths before breakfast

However, we absolutely LOVED our night at the Ritz! The Parlor Suite with the adjoining room felt like more of a fancy condo than a hotel room! 24 hour room service was a nice surprise, which we took advantage of for dinner and breakfast

A concierge or a member of guest services was always there to assist me with ANYTHING, even when I needed a shower cap at 3 am! I would recommend to anyone traveling to the downtown Charlotte area for any event to stay at the Hyatt Place, there is no other option for me, I most enjoyed my stay and I do plan on returning!

The bathroom art had water stains on the glass, everything else was satisfactory. East access to downtown, valet parking of car which was not cheap but able to use car in & out. Comfortable beds, pillows and toiletries.

Problem free stay from start to finish. We were in walking distance of everywhere we needed to go. The overnight valet was higher than I remembered but I chalked it up to the price of doing business

It's very close to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and the school has a jogging track. The hotel facilities are also very new and clean. I always think Holiday Inn is excellent in the same price range.

I stay at Holiday inns a lot in this room did not have any of the normal amenities like an in room Keurig coffee maker, no microwave,or the shampoo, conditioner, or Body wash like most Holiday Inn Properties, plus they do not have a laundry here

The elevators are slow and only one was working. I would assume that most of these issues will be taken care of once the remodel is done but I would definitely make that phone call first

We had a great stay here. Got a room for a panther game and we were so close! The room was large and the view was awesome. The bartenders we're great. We will be back! Great experience!

Very convenient for one night layover between flights. Shuttle worked very well. Quick Uber ride to South End for breweries etc and not far to downtown. Comfortable room, good shower. Towels too small.

Corporate needs to review outside courtyard/pool area. Pool out of order, patio area could use a cleaning, smoking area smelled, of course, used cigar awaiting owners return

The rooms were nice but the front staff was not friendly at all. For a two bed room, we got two towels. Not a problem for us but if you can’t do stairs then it would have been a problem

Receptionist was excellent, we stayed on the 4th floor and the ceiling was dripping with water as it had rained, hallway carpet soaked. Post on front desk was a sign that said The Fire Alarm is currently not operational

The front elevator has been out of service for over 6 months... That is very poor business...I know it may be very expensive, But that's the cost of business...You have to spend money to make money...

Decent hotel. Fair price. Not my favorite location in CLT, but a decent and safe area. Breakfast is ok. Staff were nice. The Chili's around the corner was good for dinner.

Tucked a little off a maon road which is nice because it keeps the traffic noise down while you're trying to sleep. Very convenient location close to the airport and close to the park and ride places

My room is very clean, and the woman at the front desk the morning of Sunday Nov 16 is very courteous and kind. Shuttle driver also showed exemplary guest service. GM, job well done to your entire team

When we turn the heat on it smelled like something was burning we asked for more towels and they gave us 2 small pool towels the hallways had a mildew smell to it but other than that it was fine

This location is also convenient to downtown where we had a good time. Definitely coming back here every time we visit Charlotte. Only bad thing is the breakfast in our opinion but overall great place to stay

The room was not cleaned my last night there. I returned at 9:15 that evening and found the room had not been touched. I had to go to the front desk for clean towels.

I stayed here on April 9th through 10th, 2025. The staff was exceedingly friendly in a beautiful hotel. Mary and Zane made excellent breakfasts, and Zane was very personable at the bar

Security head was at the front desk when we were checking in, asked him about it and he said it should be fine as there are not really any issues around that area. Rooms are awesome, staff is fantastic

We stayed here for an event at the amphitheater. It was a great walking distance for the concert. The staff was fantastic, and the hotel was wonderful. Very clean and nice.

The location is very good and the surrounding is very quiet. There are few breakfast options and only one Starbucks. The room size is okay.
