Hyatt Place DFW in Irving

Our flight got cancelled at DFW so we were exhausted, frustrated and hungry. Staff was very friendly! They had a little diner type of restaurant. Food was fine, room was clean and shuttle was perfect. I would definitely recommend it for an airport hotel.

Very convenient, airport

Very clean and friendly hotel. The location was great super close to the airport but yet still a bit away. Shops and restaurants were located very near as well.

Average to below for the money . Breakfast was good, not exceptional .

Very clean rooms. Amazing front desk staff, super kind and conversational. The shuttle is a plus! Got lucky and walked out the terminal and they were there. Bathroom is really nice for this kind of hotel. Shower was nice. (Though the shower gel will burn if you get it in your eyes, don't ask how I know. This is to be expected.)

Bed was comfortable for my six hour layover in Dallas. Room was among the most spacious I've had at a Hyatt. Not a sign of dirt or grime in this hotel room.

We were in town and decided to book a stay at this hotel. The staff greeted us with a smile, they were nice, kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here, probably the best hotel we have stayed at this far.

Shuttle service was so easy. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The very best thing was the staff. They were so friendly and so helpful! Checking in and out on the app was super simple. I will stay here again! ♥️

The room is clean and has a sofa. The service was good. But the breakfast is simple.

Stayed here for an overnight layover at DFW. Could not have been more impressed with the size, cleanliness and layout of the room, the friendliness of the staff, and the quality of the food and beverage. Dinner downstairs was pleasantly good, albeit basic. The produce was very fresh, sandwich bread artisanal, not just square loaf bread, and the bartender and waitress were very entertaining. Overall, this hotel has a mom and pop feel, with all the corporate amenities.

I chose Hyatt Place DFW over Hyatt Regency DFW due to recommendations by fellow travelers on the flyertalk website and it did not disappoint. The ladies at the front desk are some of the nicest people in a hotel. (and I've stayed over 1000 nights in hotels for work) At checkout they even kindly offered to make tea and coffee for guests after breakfast hours.

The breakfast offerings were better than many other Hyatt Place hotels with many hot and cold options. (including things like both boiled and scrambled eggs, sausage and oatmeal...,etc.) Not a fancy breakfast compare to full service Hyatt but good enough.

The room was clean and well maintained. The power switches look a bit dated but the walls have signs of recent renovation. Most importantly it was extremely quiet especially for a hotel in the airport area, which was very important to me as a light sleeper. The bed was comfortable, too.

Overall I enjoyed the very refreshing stay and it really helped me recover from a long international flight. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel that offers free breakfast and great services.
