Great hotel extremely clean and right at the heart of the city.

The room was in a dreadful state. It seemed they used some chemicals to clean the carpet, and as a result, we couldn't get a good night's sleep. There was no drinking water available either. The place was old and neglected, with no plans for repairs. If you have kids, you'd want to think twice before staying here.

Hilton is the oldest and worst hotel brand. The quilt has holes in it and they haven't changed it yet.

Late ish booking/choice because our normal place was unavailable. We've stayed at a variety of Hilton hotels but never a Garden Inn but a little disappointed, and probably wouldn't choose to stay at this location or another in the future.
Valet-expensive and the staff isn't very friendly. They seem frustrated with how busy they are and seem frustrated with each other. In all fairness it was rainy and cold. No major issues. Car was taken care of.
Front desk staff was friendly. No issues.
The room-our biggest disappointment. Outdated and lacks maintenance. The closet doors fell off the tracks every single time we used them. We're a family of 5 so we use the closet. The cabinet doors under the TV were loose and misaligned when we arrived. Again, we're a family so we use the refrigerator in there and one of the hinges came completely off. All of the furniture is dated and worn.
The good-housekeeping must be top notch. Even though the room is dated it was very clean. Including the restroom/shower. The room (suite) was very spacious, which as a family is really important.
Overall we felt like you're paying for location. Which worked out well for us.

Overall it was a good hotel. The view of the city from our room was beautiful, clean bathroom and clean sheets. There is a coffee maker in the room which is nice, but they only give you 4 sugar packets which to me isn’t enough. They have 2 bottles of water in the room, but they charge $8 for a water bottle downstairs. So it would be nice if they had more water but it’s not the end of the world. The ice machine was gross, and the ice had pieces of black mold frozen into it.
The restaurant in the hotel is convenient, but WAY overpriced for very average food.
If we come back to this hotel it would be for the location and the bed.

Good location and kind front desk staff. Looks are overall quite nice, but I've never met a worse shower! (Or a colder pool). Overall feels like a nice place that just isn't up to snuff yet

Room was nice, had a good view of the city and Thanksgiving park from the 12th floor. Lots of of food and drink options within a short walk but lots of putrid smells and homeless along the way. Hotel staff was pleasant and welcoming. The biggest complaint was upon showering in the morning the water wouldn't get hot, lukewarm at best.

Stayed here last week, just for 1 night and I wasn’t super impressed. The room was nice and we had a great view of downtown Dallas. Saw a roach! in my room and almost left. The fire alarm went off and we walked down 5+ flights of stairs since the elevator said do not use. The pool was great and and had a good vibe to it. Hotel staff was nice. There were a lot of restaurants and bars etc… all around so we were able to have a decent walk, drinks, food and scenery. Homeless people were everywhere downtown, some peddling, and the smell was not great.

Food is delicious and waiters are nice. Unfortunately the first face you see as soon as you walk in is not. Extremely rude Hispanic girl with long hair, she is on her phone and does not greet or say 1 single word. Walks us to our table and walks off. I am starting to believe she is mute because we come every week and I have yet to hear her voice. Very very rude, unwelcoming, & unprofessional. Customer service is everything in a business and she definitely does not belong at the front as a hostess.

Service was lacking.. nice girl but she kept forgetting our orders. She was patient with us though. Chicken on a stick was good, rolls were good, and we had fun. Love this location right in the heart of the city!

The happy hour deals are ridiculous, in a good way. Not only is it longer than your typical happy hour but the deals are remarkable.
Decent sushi and extensive menu. Parking is particularly difficult so I would suggest riding the dart rail, which drops off literally right outside, or uber.
They are always packed at happy hour so either try to make a reservation or arrive an hour before it starts.

Come see Aboo ?... best bartender in town! Fast, nice pour on that alcohol, he's on it! Food is super delicious! Come to happy hour and you won't be disappointed. Great specials, servers, and food! Late night also A-1 ?

Delicious food! I love the variety of choices and the healthy selection of vegetarian options. It's located in an interesting part of town. 4-stars since I've only been here once but it could potentially earn a better rating soon!

Been here about 3 different times, sloooooow every time, bathrooms have been down every time and crowded eeeeverytime. I guess the only good thing has been it’s within walking distance so I dont have to find a new parking spot while working DT.

When they say freaky fast that is and understatement lol. I. Ordered my sandwich they immediately started it and before I could pull out my payment my sandwich was right in my face ready to eat! The ingredients were very fresh and I definitely enjoyed the fast service!

Called for delivery and the lady was super rude. Hung up on me after saying they don't deliver to a hotel (Lorenzo) that is 0.66mil away from location. eaten at JJ a ton of times prior, but this lady blew it for JJ for me from here forward. Best of luck to everyone else

I don't normally write reviews but this place has disappointed me one too many times. I've never had a bad experience with JJs until I moved here and tried this one. They always mess up some part of my order, and today was by far the worst.
I ordered a veggie sub (#6) with hot peppers. What came was cheese, avocado, and hot peppers on stale bread - stale enough that they had to cut the ends off before passing it off to me. So where are the veggies, you may ask? I'm wondering that too. If the lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers that normally come on a veggie were rotten, I'm glad they didn't put them on my sandwich. BUT AT LEAST CALL AND TELL ME SO I CAN CHANGE MY ORDER. Who wants a veggie sub without veggies?!?! And the avocado is turning brown anyway. I would've liked a chance to pick something worth eating instead of throwing away $9. I'm very disappointed, and I can't believe they would think it's ok to serve something like this. You can do better, Jimmy John's.
