It’s a dreamy place full of old stuff: wooden crafted doors, furniture, carpets, and other things. The breakfast is migrating from place to place, every time it’s different. They have a rooftop with a nice view, and a shady garden.
It’s dusty though, and the rooms are a bit tiny, but if you stay there a couple of days it shouldn’t be a problem. Wi-Fi was good in room N11 on the second floor.

The location was excellent and Mr. Furkat went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The accommodation is perfectly situated, with all the main sights of Samarkand just around the corner. And the breakfast was absolutely outstanding.

First the best thing about the Hotel: It's located in a small side street right next to Registan, most of the attractions are reachable on food. The place is a warren, rooms are filled to the brim, locking like an explosion in your grannies attic. shower is warm and strong, bathroom clean. What to do with a shower and a extra bathtub without possibility to close the drain, nobody knows. refrigerator worked, the AC not so much. Beds hard. breakfast in the damp cellar room described elsewhere but nothing rotten or spoiled, on the opposite diverse and tasty. Vipe a bit strange, owner tried to be friendly but came as pushy.

I stayed at this hostel while in Samarkand recently. It’s definitely not a modern hotel, but it’s charming nonetheless. There’s a really wonderful rooftop at the top where I sat and typed in the morning on two of the days I was there. At 8 AM there is a free breakfast, which was fairly tasty. The location is excellent as it’s less than 5 minutes away from Registan Square and everything else. The people at the front desk were also extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend if you want to stay in unique lodging.

The owner was very unfriendly. There was confusing regarding the tourist tax (as they displayed the incorrect price). We politely asked him for clarity and he felt very insulted and walked away. The bathroom has a leakage so will be a huge lake even after a short shower. Also the smell is very bad. The breakfast had a lot of variety but the bread was old and even moldy.
Comparing to other guesthouses in Uzbekistan, the price quality really was not good, so we do not recommend this place.

We simply loved this place. Before entering, you will not realize what beauty this place is going to be. Beautiful Verandah, exceptional rooftop. Great location. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hot running water. This was a fantastic place. Definitely recommended. Owner was also very helpful..helped with all- money exchange, taxi, directions etc...speaks very good English.

It's not a good place, just a B&B, the location is good, close to Registan Square, everything else is not so good

A wonderful family run hotel, filled with charming and vibrant atmosphere, from the richly decorated rooms, to the common areas. The hosts are kind, professional, and welcoming. I was immediately served tea upon checking in. The included breakfasts are sumptuous, and the location is simply perfect, just a 3 minute walk from the Registan. The rooms are comfortable and well designed. In all, it's a terrific value, and I highly recommend a stay here, for the comfort and the experience.

Unless you care about location and nothing else, I would not recommend staying here. The room was damp and dirty with a strong mildew smell, and the bathroom was even worse smelling. The faucets malfunctioned and the bed was uncomfortable. The staff and proprietor were unwilling to discuss any issues. Breakfast was pretty nice though.
