Oq Saroy Guest House in Samarkand

We booked a family room for 1 night stay at samarkand, but when we were about to checkin the owner informed that the family room was not available and he gave us two rooms interconnected by one door. That too in another hotel just few mts away from the one we booked. So this review is for that hotel. Attaching the image of the one where we stayed.

The beds were rock, we can't even say a mattress was there though it looked like a 4 or 6 inch mattress. It was so hard and when we tap on it, we could hear wooden panel sound. It was like sleeping on a wooden plank. The pillows and blankets all good, and soft. So I couldn't sleep at all. The floors were making creaking sounds when we walked over it, since it was wooden panels.

We went for breakfast at 9 and the lady had kept items already on the table and didn't bother to ask anything we need or so. She gave us oats bowl and that too was mildly hot. So nothing good to share on the food or experience.

After we vacated the room, the owner told we can keep our luggages if needed and can use the common toilet if needed. The owner helped us in getting a cab to railway station, and that was a great help.

Just for the bed (mattress) mainly and if the staff could ask us if we need anything or so, would have made this a 4 star review. Also, since I didn't stay in the main hotel where I booked for.
