The owner was very welcoming, and the location is good, about a ten-minute walk from Registan Square. There are no restaurants nearby, only small convenience stores. The guesthouse does have a small kitchen.

The location is in the heart of traditional old town, 10 min walk from Registan. The host Sanjar is very friendly and helpful - he shared a lot of nice recommendations for the restaurants and the sights

It's a very nice guesthouse, very clean, located near all attractions in Samarkand. The room is very spacious and the owner is very helpful and speek very good english. There is also a shared kitchen.

The guest house located at old town, 20 mins to train station. The guest does not provide kettle, cup & tea in the room but they do have self service kitchen. The owner is easy to communicate

Sanjar, the owner, is an amazing host and suggested us many good restaurants where locals hang out at, away from the more touristic areas

It's quiet around, the beds are clean, the shower is clean, the amenities are minimal, but for a couple of nights it's enough. The main attractions are within walking distance

The location is very good. You can walk to any tourist attraction you want to visit. There is also a restaurant not far away that specializes in pilaf, which is delicious! The price-performance ratio is also very high!

The rooms have EVERYTHING for a comfortable stay! If I come to Samarkand again, I will definitely stay there again. Later, we checked into a hotel in Bukhara, a class higher. We missed the hotel in Samarkand

New, clean, and comfortable. There's a large smart TV with access to YouTube and other apps. Being able to use the washing machine was a big plus. The location is within walking distance to Shobhabazar.

This guesthouse used to be a private home. No one speaks English except for the father (the owner), who works outside during the day and is only around in the early morning and evening. Overall, they were very welcoming

My first hostel in Samarkand, Fariidun and his Father are nice, the lady is also kind person. They have the best hospitality, comfort room, and delicious food also. I will return here when i come to Uzbek in the future

A very beautiful romantic hotel right in the middle of the city near the main square Registan. The hotel is small, the rooms are tiny, cozy but fine for an overnight stay. Private toilet and bathroom.

You can choose between fried eggs and poached eggs, both of which are made by himself. The small courtyard is very cozy, and it is very comfortable to sit in the courtyard and drink tea

And the breakfast was absolutely outstanding

They have a rooftop with a nice view, and a shady garden. It’s dusty though, and the rooms are a bit tiny, but if you stay there a couple of days it shouldn’t be a problem. Wi-Fi was good in room N11 on the second floor

This is a beautiful guesthouse with lovely hosts. It is sheltered from the road, so it was very silent at night. The house has inner courtyard with a trestle bed, grapes and fruit trees

The host/owner was very kind and helped us to arrange minivan and tour guide on short notice. When there was an issue with the guide, he helped us to resolve the issue properly without us even asking

Close to Registan Square, close to restaurants, close to shops, the hostel staff are friendly, and while they don't speak English, you can communicate with them using a translation app.

Of course it is a guesthouse and not a true hotel, with children and family milling about, but even as a sometimes grumpy-when-disturbed solo traveller this didn’t bother me at all

I stayed at this hotel in February, 2025 and must say that overall I enjoyed this day. I was warmly welcomed by the host who personally greeted me when I checked in

There are probably about 10 rooms each of which has its own private entrance and lock. Each room has a single/double bed as well as its own bathroom

Because of the timing of my arrival, various tours and my departure, I did not get to experience the breakfast so I can’t comment on it, but everything else was terrific and I would recommend it wholeheartedly!
