Star Hotel Tashkent in Tashkent

Because the special circumstances, this review is only about the the services. Because I mistakenly booked our flight one day earlier than our hotel booked (at another hotel), we found ourselves without a hotel room in the middle of the night. I tried all booking platforms and failed to find one allowing me to book that night because it had passed the mid night and were only showing the “new date”. Finally I accidentally bumped into Star Hotel and allowed me to still book that night.

The owner of Star Hotel was shocked when we showed up around 1am, because he had closed booking for that night. But still he welcomed us and frankly explained that the rooms were all booked and would let us choose a room reserved for their employees. They saved us from a night in the streets and the owner and his staff were very kind, friendly and helpful! We are forever grateful !

I checked in late at night and checked out early the next morning, so I don't know anything about the area around the hotel, but the hotel was nice.
I was grateful that water was provided. They also exchanged dollars for soums for me. They also arranged a taxi for me to the station. The front desk staff were very kind.

It would have been even better if they had a hairdryer.

Decent hotel at reasonable price. Good choice for backpackers and less demanding visitors. Quite tasty breakfasts with a wide choice of food.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating. Clean. I am very glad I stayed here after a long flight.

I stayed for 5 days and I saw a lot of different nationalities because it's amazing place. Friendly and pretty. Politely well positive.
