The hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the railway station (to Samarkand & Bukhara). However it's quite a distance away from the city centre.
There isn't a restaurant nearby but a coonvenice store is located 3 minutes walk away. Getting a Yandex is easy enough, though.
Hotel staff can speak English, and are polite and helpful. The room is on the small side, but the decor is on point. Amenities such as toothbrush, kettle, mini fridge, slippers, etc. are provided. The hotel is priced fairly.
One minor nitpick I have is that the shower fittings are worn out and rusted.
