Reviews
This time I was given a double room, but I wanted a twin, so they changed it immediately when I asked. There was hot water to soak in the bathtub, but the bath plug didn't fit, so the water kept running even when I closed it. It's an old hotel, but the rooms are clean. The fruit at breakfast was delicious. Breakfast started at 6:30, but I couldn't get an omelet until after 7:00.
The facilities need to be improved, specifically, they need to be renovated again.
For short-term business trips or travel, this is a good choice.
Friends were staying in Uzbekistan!
One of the downsides in comparing these two hotels is that they charged a tourist tax, so the accommodation was more expensive!
Breakfasts are more modest, again in comparison with the neighboring hotel, but the main thing is there, except... Coffee 😬
Only for a fee! There is some in Uzbekistan 🙏
But...
Initially, the guys in Uzbekistan were put in a room where their windows were not only blown in, but were blown away by the wind! An extra bed for a child, they just threw in mattresses 🫣
Only after swearing and other things, they changed them to a room with renovations!
This hotel doesn't have such a problem! The room is large, quite warm! Clean, tidy! Yes, the renovation is certainly not fresh, but it's not worn out either 🙏
In general, you can live! The price and quality match! Otherwise, if you want the Soviet era, welcome to Hotel Uzbekistan! And if not, then to La Grande!
There is also a swimming pool, I think with the hotter weather it will be open!
- I requested a taxi service, but they charged me 10 times more than the normal price.
- The vehicle I used was bigger and better than a regular taxi, but 10 times more was too much.
- They presented the fare and did not give me change.
Although it was not renovated in the past two years, the standard is still online.
It is like a BMW 5 Series that has been driven for five years, and it is still very good.
Especially the breakfast, which is very rich, with a lot of fruits and hot food.
The hotel is also very clean and hygienic.
The service is also very good, the staff is still very enthusiastic, and the surrounding area is also very safe. There is a park across the road, and there are two high-end restaurants in the park, which are also very good.
It is about 200 meters away from the subway station, which is also very convenient.
Overall, it is still very good and you can stay with peace of mind.
Do Not Come to this Hotel. The staff is very rude and not helpful at all. They get guests only because of the location, and other hotels are full in the same area (like I booked because of the location and the same area hotels were not available).
They confirmed my pre-paid booking with my international passport (Uzbek citizen).
However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that my internal passport, which had expired due to my visit to my home country for an extension, was required. Despite my explanation, the hotel staff, including a manager who did not introduce himself, refused to check me in due to their internal policies. I was advised to cancel the booking to avoid any charges, as they did not allow me to stay.I had to leave the hotel and find alternative accommodation after a long flight with my infant, which was highly stressful. They saw my baby was crying, and my husband and I were jet legged, not even offering us to use Lobby even as human being. I had never expected any hotel to be such insensitive.
They told me to cancel my booking so they would refund but no refund I received. When I called back, they were even ready to scream at me rather than helping.
This Hotel Does Not Even Deserve 1 Star
