Al Anvar Hotel in Tashkent

Nice big room and very clean. The spa was private and seemed busy but the Finnish sauna wasn’t open. Location is close to airport and train stations but not very close to any attraction. Good service and breakfast.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our 5-day, 4-night trip in Tashkent. It was absolutely fantastic. It's very close to Magic City, about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is brand new and super clean. The front desk staff speak English and were very friendly.

The hotel is very conveniently located, close to Magic City, shopping centers, grocery stores, a concert hall, Seoul Mun, and the Central Railway Station. The hotel is quiet, with pleasant music, excellent breakfasts, a wide selection of food, and a coffee machine in the restaurant on the first floor with windows and a beautiful neutral interior (restaurants are often on the -1 floor in Tashkent hotels). I couldn't use the hammam because it was closed for renovations, but in exchange, they extended my check-out time and pool time. The spa area is small and requires a reservation; you can't access it at any time, but it's free. Read the description carefully; it's available for an extra charge in other places, a feature common to many hotels in Uzbekistan. The beds are comfortable, and the shower is fully stocked with toiletries, slippers, a robe, and a tea area. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel. The service was very good, the room was very clean. It's clear that the hotel is new. The only thing I didn't like was the view from my window of the women's dorm, which is literally five meters away. I didn't care, but I didn't want to embarrass the girls, so I kept the curtains closed. I couldn't really rate the breakfast because I left very early, but I really enjoyed the takeaway breakfast they gave me. I think I'll stay here again.

My stay at Al Anvar Hotel was marked by the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Every team member I interacted with was not only courteous and welcoming but also spoke fluent English, which made communication seamless and pleasant.

One point of consideration for future guests: the hotel has recently adopted a payment system that only accepts cards requiring a PIN. As a result, most American credit cards without PIN functionality may not be accepted. I encountered this issue during my stay, but I am deeply grateful to the hotel manager, who worked diligently to find a solution. Ultimately, I was able to assist by covering a hotel grocery expense using my card, and in a generous gesture of appreciation, the hotel provided a complimentary fruit platter. Their flexibility and thoughtfulness were greatly appreciated.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. My only suggestion would be to provide larger pillows for enhanced comfort.

Additionally, guests should note that although the top floor is labeled as a lounge or terrace, it was nonexistent.

Overall, Al Anvar Hotel offers warm service and a pleasant stay, and I would gladly return — particularly with updated awareness of the payment situation.

A good hotel with clean and spacious rooms snd soft towelling robes. The staff are all helpful and most spoke good English. We arrived very late in our second stag and the night receptionist used his own account to order a pizza for us because our card didn’t work. Breakfast was good and you can book the spa for an exclusive hour. Pool and steam room etc. we left luggage the first time and all safe and well. 24 hour reception if you need anything. would happily come back
