Hotel Al Arda Hyatt in Tashkent

First of all they add extra tax for amount of reservation fees, they didn’t tell about this before when we reserved room.
Room was not clean, pillow sheets and bedding stuff wasn’t fresh, we told them about this but they changed only at 3rd day of our staying at this hotel.
The restroom had a disgusting smell from Sewerage system, which we told them too, but no reaction.
Breakfast wasn’t matched to photo which was on Booking, was so poor only couple things you could eat, no choice at all especially for kids.
Not recommending at all. Only good thing is location but we sow many others hotels in this area.
Hotel not worth for their price. They adding extra staying tax, be careful.
We want to leave after first night but due their policy of refund it’s take 6 months for refund our money, so we decided to stay and it was the worst hotel in my life.

We ended up in Uzbekistan due to a layover. We decided to relax in this hotel before our next flight and explore the city. Money can only be exchanged at the airport, so we calculated the required amount and exchanged rubles for soms. When booking, Trip warned that you would need to pay a tax upon check-in at the hotel, in cash. The tax is large, $5. Upon arrival at the hotel, they demanded $5.86 from each of us. Neither contacting technical support nor reading the law of Uzbekistan, which states that the fee is charged per room, helped. 2 bearded guys threateningly said: pay. I read the reviews before this and I know that now the hotel administration will come out with a denial that nothing happened and they are angels. We went to the room while waiting for negotiations with Trip. The room is an old dark kennel with gray sheets and towels. Black hair all over the bed and the floor. I will say right away that we were unable to sleep - an iron mesh was sticking out of the mattress and pressing against our ribs.
Trip did not provide us with any support in the end and offered to pay the tax in cash with the possibility of compensation from Trip later. We went to the reception and paid, realizing that we only had money left for a taxi to the airport. But the hotel administration assured us that we could use the card to easily and simply pay for food and travel with a Russian card.
I will not describe our further adventures without money in Tashkent. But Russian bank cards do not work. I understand that this hotel does not characterize Uzbekistan, so please avoid visiting it so as not to spoil the impression!

The rooms are small and the staff are not of the highest quality.
But it's not cheap either, so if you're going to stay there anyway, I recommend choosing a different hotel.

For international travelers: be careful. The receptionist tried scamming us twice for money. Charging a higher tourist fee than normal. At check out he was trying to charge us for used towels.
