Pakhtakor Athletics hotel in Tashkent

This budget hotel is located in the central part of the city. Tashkent City, Taskent City Park and Tashkent City Mall are only walking distance away. At the same time, the hotel is somewhat far from city amenities because it is situated on the grounds of the Pakhtakor Stadium. I imagine that would be inconvenient for some people. Moreover, the hotel is not easy to find.

However, I would still give it a 5-star rating because it offers unbeatable value in terms of price-to-quality ratio.

The rooms are basic, but you get all you need: private bathroom, TV, fridge, AC, phone, tea kettle. The hotel's Wi-Fi is OK. The reception staff is nice and welcoming. There is a cafeteria right next to the hotel. One side of the hotel faces sports grounds, you can watch athletes training. Due to its location the hotel is very quiet, especially at night. The neighborhood is very safe. The nearest metro stations (Uzbekistan, Paxtakor and Alisher Navoiy) are a 10-15 minute walk away.
To get to the hotel from the airport take an airport bus to any metro station, then ride to Uzbekistan, Paxtakor or Alisher Navoiy station, then walk. The stadium has 3 entry gates, Google maps will guide you to one of them.
In my opinion if you are looking for a budget hotel in the centre of Tashkent this hotel is your best option.

Clean, good value, no frills hotel in a good location. As a sports lover I really enjoyed being in the grounds of the football stadium with the athletics track as the view out of my window. I dealt with two staff members who were both really lovely, and let me store my bag before and after check in / check out. My bed was very comfy. Yes the rooms are not fancy but they are clean and comfortable and excellent value. Just be aware you will need to walk 5 minutes to the exit of the stadium complex to get a Yandex (not a problem for me as a European) but factor this into your timings etc.

This hotel is literally inside the stadium compound. It’s super safe and well guarded (I think national athletes stay and train here too). But due to the police guarding the place so well, some eHailing drivers do not dare to go inside. Making it hard for us to get a car from the hotel, have to walk out of the stadium compound to get a car. The rooms are clean & well maintained. Air conditioning works well and is really cold. The mattress was a bit on the firm side. But it was a good place to stay, really extremely safe!

I stayed here for one night on arriving in Tashkent.
The rooms were basic but everything you need and clean. There is air con if it is hot and a good shower.
Nora, who works there, was wonderful both when I checked in and then again when she was helping with a taxi driver coming to pick me up by giving directions.

I was also able to store my bag there during the day after checking out.

Great location too and quiet rooms.

Compared to many other hotels during this period of large influx of tourists, this one is inexpensive for a separate room. Wi-Fi crashed on the first day on the second floor, but then everything was fixed. The kitchen is acceptable, only breakfast is very early.
