Catba Island Resort & Spa in Cat Ba Island

W really enjoyed our stay at The May Legend. The room has been recently renovated and was very comfy. We had a Delux sea view room which offered a great view from the balcony.

It's a short walk into eateries and night life in Cat Ba town.

There are two pools, one with water slides.
Breakfasts were okay, with a reasonable variety, but nothing special.

They could do with a proper bar setup by the pool, instead of waiting for a staff member to walk by to take your order, then waiting another 10 minutes for your drink to arrive.
We also had Adobe issues charging drinks back to our room, while other guests seemed to be able.. not sure why, maybe because we refused to leave our passports with reception, and opted to keep them with us.. even though they had our credits card on file.

Overall a really good experience and I would go back.

The Hotel's location is superb, offering a range of excellent amenities. The highlight of my stay was definitely the spa experience - a must-try for all guests. The indoor pool is filled with warm water, and the hotel boasts two private beaches. Additionally, there is a kids' play area with plenty of activities to keep little ones entertained.

Located right by the pier but slightly uphill, which is not an issue. This place is quiet and has a beautiful view of the beach. The rooms and services are great and I will definitely recommend. The general manager, Mr. Luo, is actually Taiwanese and super friendly/passionate. He helped point out all the pints of interest, and even helped us order local seafood restaurant!

I'll be back more than once . I'm in love with these places ???
