Rom Casa Hostel Da Nang in Da Nang

Rom Casa Hostel is honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. No joke — the crowd is young, lively, and super accommodating, making it an amazing place to meet new friends. As for amenities, the rooms are cold and comfortable, and the bathrooms are fully stocked with necessities — no need to worry about forgetting things like toothbrushes, Q-tips, or even nail clippers (backpackers know how rare that is unless you pack them yourself!). The hostel also has a pool, an activity board, a pool table, a gym, hammocks, and even the owners’ dogs roaming freely around the property. They’re really sweet — make sure you give them a pet when you’re there, I definitely did. Beers are cheap, especially during happy hour, and every night they host games that bring everyone together, making it easy to connect with people from different groups. It was an absolute blast. You’ll know you’re in the right place when even people who aren’t staying at the hostel stop by just to have a drink — all because of the amazing vibe it gives off.

This hostel has comfy beds, clean facilities, and a really social atmosphere, which makes it a great choice for solo travelers. It's a perfect spot to relax and also a fantastic place to meet new friends.

Superb budget accommodation in a great part of town. We spent 3 weeks in Da Nang and apart from a few nights staying in an up-market hotel we stayed here despite having planned to stay in other places. We loved the constant comings and goings of backpackers - its a real hub for young travellers. The staff were incredibly friendly. The little open-air bar was a great place to hang out and drink beer and superb cocktails. The container rooms were roomy and comfortable. Ours had air conditioning. The communal shower/ sink/ toilet area was basic but always clean with hot water all the time. The white sand beach is a 4 minute walk. There are loads of trendy little bars and eateries all around - including vegan/ vegetarian. We'll be going back to DaNang next year and look forward to staying at Rom Casa again. It's an unforgettable experience and one of the best places we've stayed for character and unique environment. The area is very up and coming (has been since 2017) with high rise hotels being built all around so I hope it manages to survive the pressures from developers.

Rom Casa was such a great stay - we met so many other travellers and there were great communal spaces to relax in. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. It was also great location to the beach and coffee. Highly recommend staying here!

Really fun place with cool new management. We were told the place had just opened after covid with a new owner and he was hoping to get things moving. Things lime the personal service and free toothbrushes stood out to us. However, the main thing is that we had a great time in the evening. It is well worth dropping in and I reckon things are only gonna get better cos the place has such a friendly feel to it.
