I stayed at the Bach Nam Hotel for eight nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself was clean, pleasant, and comfortable, and the staff were consistently kind, honorable, and welcoming. I was treated with fairness, warmth, and genuine hospitality throughout my stay.
What truly made this stay special, however, was the neighborhood. Hoa An is a local area with very few expats, and if you’re looking to experience the real Da Nang, this is a fantastic place to stay. The streets are alive and vibrant, filled with incredible street food, friendly smiles, and engaging personalities.
My room was perfectly acceptable and comfortable, but the surrounding community is what sold me on this stay. Exploring the local markets, discovering food stalls, and navigating the area with a translator app became an unforgettable cultural experience. Once I found my footing, I felt warmly welcomed by the people around me.
Compared to staying earlier in the city center near the college and deeper into the expat community, the difference was night and day. This stay offered a far more authentic and enriching experience of Da Nang.

I checked in, they first gave me another room, then I waited for them to check out of mine, even though I arrived on time. There's no hot water! My toothbrush cuts my gums, it was a terrible waste of money. When I left, the staff wanted to take more money, but I showed them their hotel description again, which lists the check-out time. They really don't understand their own rules.

WORST HOTEL IN VIETNAM!!!!
If you are not a vietnamese please save your money and give it to some other hotels who deserve it. The staff is very rude and make fun of you all time. We book 2 days and were willing to add more days but they didn't wanted to rent any motorbike (even if they said yes before to book for 150000d).... when we asked for the laundry they said they would charge us 15000d for each clothing sets????? Also we booked for a king bed room but they gave us 2 beds they said wait until lunch time we will give you your room but never happened. The toilets were clogged and dirty, the hygiene kits were open and used. After 3 weeks in Vietnam is the only place we felt unwelcome... it's ok we found better place to stay:) peace!

We literally stopped to wait for the night bus. It was very dirty, all the walls were stained. In the toilet, one tile fell off the ceiling and all sorts of wires were visible. The bus station was nearby, but nothing else, no store, no place to grab a bite to eat.

Good day! We took this motel solely because we had a late departure by bus and the bus station was within walking distance. Purely to while away the time, relax and wash up before leaving, quite good for this money.

Good rooms,
the Google map location was little bit confusing, both motel and hotel are same place. -
The staff was so friendly and helped us with booking tours and information on how to get to tourist destinations
Bus station is nearby, thus it was easy for me to find a bus to hanoi from there

Very basic rooms - that's ok because they were cheap and you get what you pay for, however not enough toilet paper, the air conditioner smelt musty the whole time it was running my guess is it was never cleaned also permanently set to 25 degrees, if it is not such warm weather it would be better to open windows, no fan also. Good laundry service though - helpful worker..

A great option for anyone arriving at the bus station. We stayed after a hellish bus ride and the staff were very sweet and helpful. The room itself was nice, although for some reason the floor was all wet throughout. Just a minute or two walk from the bus station. Hotel has a lift.
