The location of the hotel is ideal as it is very near to Sun Plaza and the other restaurants. The breakfast is just enough and the room is comfortable. Strong and stable hot water which is really great during winter. Staff are friendly. Really worth the money! Recommended.

Only downfall is the inconsistent WiFi in the hotel. But if you have your own data it should not be a problem.

Comfortable spacious room. Stayed here for two nights. Cleanliness is unfortunately found some stained on the bed sheets but after informing the receptionist. She arranged the house keeping to changed the bedsheets immediately.
View is magnificent over looking the mountain but foggy on most days due to weather isn't favorable. First day when we arrived was raining.
Breakfast was good. There were plenty of choices buffet style. Dessert is delicious. I like the yoghurt taste so good.
Location is good next to CatCat village. Walking distance.
The pick up transferred from Lao Cai Station to Catcat Hill Resort is very good. The driver pick us up and send us to the hotel and pick us up on the last day and send us back to the station. Very friendly driver and nice to talk too.

The room worth the price. I got 3 beds, very spacy. Perfect. Old but classy. Good buffet breakfast. Walkable to Sa pa station, only 200m.

2-night family stay (Feb 2026)

Location: Perfect! Behind Sapa Station. Short slope but very convenient.

Room: Very clean. Nothing special view-wise but comfortable. amenities: toothbrush, shower cap, shampoo, (there’s no hair treatment) body soap, tea/coffee, tissues.

Wi-Fi: Terrible—don't count on it.

Vibe: Quiet at night, great sleep.

Staff: Friendly and speak good English.

Verdict: Ideal for location and cleanliness. Just don't expect good Wi-Fi or a view!

Very accommodating and helpful staff. Panicked for a bit because HK Busline has not arrived past pick-up time. Sapa Green’s staff helped me contact HK Busline and was picked up befor my bus leaves for Sapa.

Room - very spacious, I can dance around lol

Breakfast- very filling, a lot of variety to choose from, from salads to breads to rice/noodles to pho. Ate a lot during breakfast in my 2 night-stay in the hotel.

Housekeeping - room gets cleaned daily, I didn’t even noticed it at first because my things were all over the place, but they replaced towels daily.

Will stay here again for sure when I get back to Sapa next time:

The overall stay was good for the location wise and with beautiful scenery , free buggy service to room and the room are nice except the bedsheets was slightly stained. The staffs there are friendly and the hotel als provide ticket to Fansipan and also rental of car services too

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. While we were there, it seemed there was a minor issue with the drain, causing a very unpleasant smell to enter the room from the bathroom at night. However, it was taken care of as soon as we mentioned it. The breakfast was very good and offered a great selection. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Spacious rooms. Central location. Nice and comfortable feel. Beautiful views. More foreign tourists here - some staff looked overwhelmed that overshadowed their inherent friendliness.

Great service from staff who can converse relatively well in English - a plus point.

While room and toilet is nice and clean and I do enjoy the proximity of the place, added good location and service, amenities of rooms provided were abysmal.

Firstly, no hot water. They do have but its like a shortage. When set to the highest temperature, water becomes not freezing at best, but just not hot, not even warm.

Wi-Fi while decent when connected, sometimes disconnect. Sometimes, having issues of 'Connected without internet'.

Overall, am well aware this is a 3 star hotel. Still, I have stayed in a 3 star nearby and that was way better, at least consistent in its amenities.

To be fair, free breakfast is offered and the quality of it might improve this review. Still I would not consider wanting to come back for stated reasons.
