we were just passing thru and need to fuel the car and this gas station takes card. so we stopped by restaurant for lunch and this place was a pleasant surprise. tasty food, affordable prices, and we were left so full, I could accept dessert. grill was good..had the lamb and also fried calamari. partner has grilled chicken. all good.

Comfortable, modern and clean hotel at rear of petrol station on main road into town. Quiet rooms, good AC and no noise. Also has 24 hour restaurant which has good menu; a reasonable breakfast was included in price of room that we paid. Good for an intransit overnight stay.

We was just driving here at fier, and we was hungry, accidentally we stop at this nicely restaurant. Order to eat ( salad, macaroni and pizza), the service was fast came almost same time everything, very delicious ( I was surprised) that's why the comment. They deserve the 5 star.

Nice, modern and silent room, everything clean, breakfast a la carte at the nearby restaurant, small shop available at every hour. Friendly staff. If you stay here eat at the restaurant, it's worth it.

Nice stop off, the kind man pumped our fuel for us and the washrooms were very clean. Much cheaper than the gas station before which was 10 cents per litre more!

So nice place to stop and take a brake. They have a really good home made meal and cheap prices.

Enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. On arrival they upgraded our room for no charge because we have a young baby. The room was very nice and clean with all amenities. The pool was nice. Good secure hotel parking. Overall very pleasant stay.

The hotel is exactly what you want from vacation hotel but in wrong location. Rooms are clean, king size bed, free drinks and with amazing sea view with mountain on the background. Pool is big enough for many people with smaller one for kids. Don't have high expectations for breakfast and dinner but it's ok. We tried dinner open buffet once for 20 Euros per person.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Amara on reception and Simon on the pool bar and beach . Breakfast had a good variety of options and the Pizza was delicious. Close to the beach. Would also like to thank the Manager Loris for all his help with my booking direct through the hotel .

We were disappointed..The Hotel had a distinct smell as we entered.Room was Spartan and dated. The bathroom had an attempted upgrade which was very poorly completed. Black mold in the bathroom on the ceiling and in the shower. Timber steps leading up to the hotel entrance were broken I certainly would not say this 4.5 star.Far from it.

Great location, 5 min walk to the beach and other amenities. Breakfast was nice enough but had little variation and cater for continental Europeans like German and Italian so don't expect full English brekkie. Parking can get a little busy but there's always space. The lift was fine going up but for some reason going down took longer. Reception staff were nice and courteous but you might not get everything...

This was one of the best experiences we had. The hotel was at a great location, and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff was what made it more enjoyable. I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The hotel is close to the beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are reserved there especially for hotel guests, which is a big plus. Everything was very clean, the room was tidied up every day, and the whole place felt pleasant and well-kept. The staff were kind and helpful throughout the stay. I definitely recommend this place.

There is a more traditional taverna across the road if you do not want to eat dinner in hotel. Good breakfast in hotel. Beware, there are bottles of water in fridge and no price list displayed but some members of our party were charged 1 euro per bottle on checkout.

The hotel is very grand and somewhat impersonal, more of a business hotel. It is a way out of town so unless you have transport you will be stuck there away from bars and restaurants. A bit of sharp practice they charge 1 euro a bottle for the water in the fridge on checkout. There is no notice advising of this charge which, in a country where you can't drink the tap water, is a bit stingy for such...

Great stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable and great staff, with breakfast included which made mornings easy. The location is perfect with lots of activities and things to do nearby. Its like in the heart of the city with the beach close to less than 100m. Would definitely go again and I recommend it.

Lovely location in a nice area of Berat close to the centre...

Really great location, everything is nearby, parking is a big plus, getting there is feasible. Very friendly staff, nice room, amazing view from the balcony. Breakfast was always the same, but delicious, coffee was good!

Located at the start of the steep street up to the castle, this family run place is super welcoming and helpful. Rooms are modern but the one we were in (# 111) was smallish. All amenities work well and parking is available. Breakfasts were a standout and served with panache. It is an easy walk into the centre of town, but a trudge up to the castle unless you have a car (we did). We loved this place...

We booked the day before our stay and were not disappointed. Place was on a main street and has its own parking. Next to a beautiful local mosque. We had room 101- so could hear alot of people checking out (lots of luggage rolling on tiled floors) in the morning. Try and get a room at the end of the corridor!

Portik hotel is very well located, the rooms are nice. The staff is helpful and always trying to help. There is a parking lot under the hotel. The roof restaurant is a very nice place to have breakfast and dinner All and all, I would recommend it.

The location couldn’t be better. Breakfast is quite standard but with an astonishing view over the city. The service and hygiene is a 6/10. Includes a garage which is great to park the car.

This hotel looks nice from the outside and the rooms are airy and spacious. But a few amenities are lacking. There is no drinking water provided, except at a cost, and there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom hand basin has no bench space on which to place a toilet bag. had a wonderful stay at Portik Hotel in Berat! The room was very clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the old town. The staff were extremely kind and helpful during my entire stay. I really enjoyed the breakfast – everything was fresh and delicious. The location was perfect for exploring the city. I truly felt welcomed and relaxed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berat

Slightly old fashioned hotel, BUT excellent service. Erik was incredibly helpful and gave great service. Great guy! Fabulous rooftop restaurant with great views. Food was fine. Had evening meal elswhere as special event at hotel - a bit annoying!

There is no drinking water in the room and we went to resepsion. They said bar is closed. For water we went to another hotel and we bought the water.

Basic hotel did the job for a few days not longer It's a very basic budget hotel so wasn't expecting a lot. Has parking but is limited but easiest one to park on street outside if needed, we've seen. No offer of pool towels at check in or in room, happened to see guy opening pool bar and asked. Note he disappears for 2 hours or more In afternoon. Pool was nice but windy corner so couldn't use umbrellas...

This beach hotel was a treat to all of us We checked in from a long drive and are room was brilliant We settled in and we walked down the beach walk which was amazing Kids head lovely time on the pool are and was quite and relaxing Staff was lovely and friendly Room was lovely and beautiful view Thank you New York hotel for a lovely stay

Family trip with 4 rooms. Amazing service, rooms exemplary clean and spacious. Located in the main square. Thank you for the experience.

The hotel is in the best location. We received a complimentary room upgrade, and the room was very clean and spacious. The staff were friendly, and we were also given the possibility of a late check-out, which was a big advantage for us. Overall, we had a great experience.

Disability accessible. Very clean and modern. Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Good location close to pedestrian boulevard and main street. The breakfast is ok, but not great selection, thus 4/5 stars.

Updated hotel with a large room, comfortable bed, a terrace, and a modern bathroom. Medium quality beakfast was included, but sadly, the coffee was not up to the usual Albanian quality and there was no coffee service in the room. Friendly staff in the restaurant and at the reception desk. Conveniently located right off of the main promenade and close to the river.

Very nice hotel, the staff are pleasant, the room is clean, and the breakfast is decent! The hotel's location is one of its strengths: right in the center! One small downside is that the parking lot is rather small, which can be inconvenient! I recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located by one of the plazas near the river. The room was okay but it faced the street and was noisy. The bathroom was a challenge. No place for putting personal toiletries and the toilet paper was on the opposite wall across from the toilet. Breakfast was okay. There is only one small elevater which causes a traffic jam when groups depart.
