We only had two nights here but couldn’t complain about anything. Informative and very helpful reception staff that steered us to some great eating options, as well as telling us where to avoid. Rooftop bar and pool which makes a spot to kick back and catch up. Really close the the beach and what I would regard as the better end of the promenade. Great breakfast selection to start the day off and excellent car parking out the front of the hotel. It’s a shame the view is being spoilt by a new hotel development being built in front although I’m afraid we will probably be seeing more of this in Albania. They do have a sauna and Hamamatsu in the hotel which I forgot about Have no problem recommending this place Pro’s Location to beach and promenade Car parking Cleanliness and room size Con’s Construction activity opposite

Lovely hotel by the seaside. Chose the best suite on site and I am not disappointed at all. The jacuzzi was great, the bathroom left clean and the room kept tidy at all times. The sea view was also very much welcome, despite the slight obstruction by the construction sites.

Absolutely fabulous stay at this hotel. Positioned one row back from the beach, with limited sea views, which is more than made up for by the staff. The staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble for them. There’s a great roof top pool and bar area, which gets the sun in the afternoon. The room was small, but adequate. Each room has a balcony. Breakfast was included, with lots of choice.

I had a very disappointing experience at Ames Hotel in Vlore. My friend and I stayed from October 17th to 19th, paying 152 euros for what was supposed to be a relaxing stay in a hotel that looked great online. Unfortunately, reality didn’t match the advertisements.

First, the room advertised a sea view, but our room faced trees, completely blocking the view. The rooftop pool photo showed a beautiful sea view, but a construction site now blocks the view entirely, something that the hotel failed to update in their photos. The staff was unfriendly, particularly the receptionist, who was rude and refused to accept card payments. The room itself was not properly cleaned – there was even a used band-aid stuck near the TV, which was disgusting. We also booked two single beds and were given a queen bed instead, which caused further inconvenience. Lastly, the black coffee served at breakfast was cold on the first morning.

This trip was supposed to be a dream vacation that we had planned for a long time, but our stay at this hotel left us frustrated and disappointed.

To make matters worse, after leaving an honest negative review on Booking.com, the hotel canceled our reservation on the platform, making it impossible for others to see our feedback. This behavior is unacceptable and only adds to our negative experience.

I do not recommend Ames Hotel, as they seem more interested in hiding the truth than providing quality service.

The hotel had nice staff and can see is new. The parking needs to be addressed as you get blocked in so easier to walk than attempt to move.

Breakfast warm stuff is only warm not hot but good variety.

Upstairs pool is cool but not enough loungers for all and only place that looked like it. Needed a clean inside.

Short walk to the beach where they had more loungers but weather was not warm enough.

Would go back and stay if needed though.

A really nice hotel set just back from the coast. There is currently some construction going on infront of the hotel for some new apartments, it didn't affect us at all. The pool is on the roof of the hotel and although not the biggest, it is a really nice quiet area and as the hotel isn't the biggest, we never had issues with space. The beach is a short walk away and is a great space on the beach. It's set in a really nice area. Our room was spacious, clean, had a nice balcony. Breakfast was also really nice. Most importantly the staff were great. We had a nightmare on our arrival as our rental car's engine failed about 20 minutes from Vlore so we plodded there. I asked front desk if we could use the phone to call the rental company to avoid phone charges. Not only did she let us use the phone, she made the call for us and handled the entire situation and got us a car delivered the following day. It was such a relief/life saver and she didn't need to do it. So a huge thank you again from us!

Very good breakfast. Nice pool at the roof but only downside was there were limited sunbeds, but the beach is not far away and sunbeds there were included. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Great service

This hotel is modern and clean and the service is great. It is also a good location near to the sea front yet far enough away that is is quieter. The roof bar/pool is small, tables and chairs and only 8 sun beds but we never struggled to get one. The beach area is minutes away and a coupon from reception gets you free beds. This also has a toilet area but no bar. What stops this being a 5* review is; The sea view - is now blocked by a huge complex being built (not too much noise though from the build) The spa - is just a steam room and sauna, hrs of operation 5-10pm. Notice must be given to turn both on. There is an area for massage but on a rainy Saturday, I asked what the possibility of arranging a massage was and was told the masseur didn't live locally, so not possible.
