Hotel Shpija e Gjyshit in Shkoder

A great base for a trip to Northern Albania. The complex consists of two or three hotels. The facilities are located at the highest hotel. The restaurant is highly recommended. It's better and cheaper than other establishments. Add the view, and it's a perfect restaurant. There's an entertainment area with a pool table, darts, and foosball. The pool is definitely a reason to stay here. During the cooler months, the pool (indoor) is made, and in the summer, it's lovely outside. I've never been in such a warm hot tub before; it's wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly. They help with everything, even changing a flat tire. The rooms, some of which have beautiful views, are good. The beds are comfortable, but poorly maintained. The wardrobe and bedside table were practically falling apart. The curtains are not blackout at all. Without a sleep mask, we woke up at 5:30 AM. Unfortunately, it was very noisy, and the doors creaked. All in all, definitely recommended.

Very good view from the room but the breakfast in not that much.

Very nice location just outside of town of Skhodra. Rooms are good and comfortable , dinner and breakfast were nice too. Super friendly staff who can arrange any request you have such as transportation to Theth/Valbonë. They even exchanged our last LEK money into euro when checking out
